Alfredo is the best. He is completely dependable and the nicest guy ever. He's helped us out of algae emergencies, dependably kept the pool free from endless sycamore leaf clogging and basically just been a service provider we can absolutely trust and rely on. Very strongly recommend this family business. Fair prices. Prompt service and there fast for emergencies. read more

Golden West Pool and Spa is amazing. Alfredo is honest and reliable. He's punctual and has a lot of integrity. He's one of the few people that I can trust to be on my property without me being there. He will go above and beyond to do quality work and will at times throw in an extra service at no charge. It's really hard to find people like Alfredo nowadays, and I look forward to having him work for us for years to come. read more

Golden West Pool and Spa is the best! Alfredo and his team are so thoughtful and thorough, and a pleasure to work with! He anticipates our needs so well, and protects our investment by sending wind/weather warnings and making sure everything is in great shape. I have had several pool companies over the years with very mixed results. But since Golden West started with us 2 1/2 years ago, they have been bulletproof! I would recommend them to anyone! read more

OT, even though he is alone outside, he still wears a mask. much appreciated. guys, if your looking for a new pool man, HE IS THE ONE. THANK YOU ALFREDO!!! read more

We recently moved into a house with a pool and have been super happy with Golden West's service so far. Alfredo is reliable, knowledgeable, hard-working, and friendly, always taking the time to answer our questions and troubleshoot if something doesn't seem right. You can tell he takes pride in making sure the pool is in sparkling condition week after week, and we have peace of mind getting in the water due to our confidence in his abilities. The office manager, Naria, is also on top of things and very professional. Highly recommend this awesome family-run business! read more

I can not say enough good things about Alfredo and Golden West Pool and Spa. Our pool has never been cleaner and so well maintained. He is very knowledgeable and is alway on top of timely treatments. We had some tree trimmers turn the pool into an absolute disaster and cleaning was a week away (see pictures below). We called Alfredo and within the hour he was at our place cleaning and treating the pool. Before we knew it he had the pool back back to its pristine condition. He is fair, honest and so thoughtful. Every Christmas we leaves us a gift, including something for our doggie. I wish I could give Alfredo and his business more than 5 stars!!! read more

I'm so happy we found Alfredo!!! He's so attentive to caring for our pool, and goes the extra steps needed to make sure our pool is in great shape!! I never realized that our pool had been neglected before we switched to him. Immediately after his first visit, it sparkled and shined like never before! He is honest, professional and highly reliable. He's also really a nice guy which is just a bonus! He always comes when he says he's going to, his prices are fair, he is extremely knowledgeable, and the billing process is very efficient. I feel spoiled by his excellent customer service! This is going to be our pool company for as long as they stay in business!!! If you're looking for top-notch care for your pool, look no further; Alfredo is your guy!!! I am lucky to have come across Golden West Pool and Spa to maintain my spa. Due to my busy schedule, it was easier to find someone to maintain my spa. I have received nothing but professional and reliable service. My spa has never looked better. Don't hesitate to give them a call. read more

Alfredo is a class act - professional, consistent, knowledgeable, follows through. He goes beyond expectations - our spa cover had some mold on it, and Alfredo took the extra time to power wash it away. His work has been better than any pool service we've used in the last 16 years. Highly recommend this company - you won't be disappointed in Alfredo's work! read more

Great service! Licensed and bonded. Alfredo is very personable and got to work right away when I had asked for an estimate. Got everything working in short order and turned the pool from green to clean (and swimmable) in just 3 days! Replaced the pool filter in 1 day at a reasonable price. I've been tired of having pool service from people who don't provide much service. I've had pool service from people who didn't clean my salt cell so it burned out. There have been times when I wondered if whether the pool service came out at all. I just hired Golden West so I can't provide a long-term evaluation but I have been very impressed with how courteous and professional Naria and Alfredo have been. Looking forward to finally having real professionals care for my pool! read more

Golden West has been looking after our pool since the beginning of the year. Alfredo is absolutely the best. He's honest, dependable, diligent, and extremely knowledgeable- not just at keeping the chemicals balanced (which he does a great job at), but also at keeping the equipment running smoothly and at doing repairs, when necessary. We have an older pool and have had a few problems with it this year. Every time, Alfredo goes above and beyond to fix everything quickly, making time to do the repairs right away. I really appreciate his hard work and wouldn't trust our pool to anyone else. read more

Excellent service! Alfredo will work through any issues with you and find solutions that work. He is very honest and would tell you immediately what can be fixed or cannot be fixed, so that you don't have to waste money on new equipments. If there are equipments that are needed to be fixed, he would provide you options from cheap to expensive pool supplies. He also takes his time to explain to you which one is better for your pool and last a long time. Very easy to be reached also, and replies back very quick back if you have any concern or problems with your pool. Ever since my family and I have gotten service from Alfredo, we have never been more happier with how our pool looked like! I used to have a very difficult pool, and Alfredo have been able to work it all out and get it consistently looking beautiful. I highly recommend Golden West if you are looking for someone that is very knowledgable, reliable and trustworthy :) read more

We found GWP quite by accident. I had fired our pool man earlier only to find out I didn't have the time or expertise to do it myself. On the day I decided something HAD to be done, GWP had stopped in front of the house for some reason. I asked if they could come take a look. It took a draining and acid wash to get it back to life. We've been satisfied customers ever since. Professional service with still the small company attention to the client...In 2022, wow! read more

So far, so good! Alfredo inherited a very poorly maintained pool with equipment that is aging. We have had to do some serious trouble shooting and address deferred maintenance. But I think we are now on track. And all the while, the weekly service is going well. Golden West just "knocked it out of the park" in fighting for and securing and installing a new heater as our old one gave up the ghost in early Fall 2020. I delayed replacing the heater over the winter because losing 6 months of a warranty didn't seem like a good idea. I like the care and professionalism that this family run business demonstrates. read more

I have lived in La Canada for for over forty years. I have had Pool Companies, independent services and pool managers with a team of service people. No one compares to Al at Golden West Pool and Spa. I gave Golden west Pools and the owner , Al five stars because my pool is shinning clean. Al never misses a day, rain or shine. He is always happy and available to answer any question. Who brings a special technician to fix the heater, at night (using flash lights) and doesn't charge anything extra? Al !!! He knew my grandkids were visiting and wanted to swim, so he made a special trip to fix the heater. He is the best!! read more

So happy and relieved to have found Al! It's not often that you're lucky enough to find someone who provides amazing service and is more than reasonably priced. It feels like quotes for services in Pasadena are often inflated and this just wasnt the case with him. Communication with this young man the easiest and we honestly couldn't be happier. My husband jokes that jumping into our pool now feels like taking a dip in a Fiji water bottle, which is saying a lot because that man is not easily pleased. Al's great! I highly recommend Golden West Pool and Spa to anyone in the San Gabriel Valley. No need to thank me later! read more

We have had at least 4-5 different companies service our pool in the last 20 years. Alfredo Garcia at Golden West is by far the best. He treats the pool like it is his own, he always shows up when he says he will, and he is extremely knowledgeable about pools. He really goes above and beyond. I recommend him wholeheartedly. read more
