She was very thoughtful and she asked me questions. She really worked hard on my lower back and gave it a lot of attention. She did also stretching and pressure points in the area and after two weeks of being in pain the few days after I got the massage, my pain was about 75% gone . This was the best decision I ever made by going to this location. You can tell that she is trained and skilled so kudos to Asia massage I really appreciate the great customer service as well. Very kind people.

I booked an appointment at this establishment because I will choose the smaller entrepreneurs over…read morethe chains and big companies. I'm not new to spa's on any levels. So I'm saying that to say this, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I've never thought having a massage could be so painful, tense and uncomfortable. My body was sore a couple of days afterwards. Not only did the place smell like mildew the employees spoke broken English as if they didn't understand what you were saying but sure knew how to ask for money. There was no health question screening, no options on services only how much time you wanted. Clearly these people were hurting for money because after the bad services they had the nerve to ask for an unearned tip. I would NOT recommend them or book them again and I hope this will help someone to not go through what I did.

I have trigger points and very tense muscles in my upper back and shoulders. Though I generally enjoy a more therapeutic massage using deep tissue and myofascial release techniques, this was the most relaxing massage I've ever had - to where I actually fell asleep. Cici was very receptive to my requests for more pressure where it was needed. I do, in retrospect, wish she'd placed a bit more focus on my trigger points, but that was my fault for not specifying. Again, she is very receptive and easy to talk to - I'm sure that if I'd asked, she would have elbowed tf out of my stubborn knots. The building is small, right next to the nail salon in the Unity Shopping Center - small but clean. The room was lit dimly and relaxing instrumental music played. Cici used unscented oil, and then used a hot towel to remove it so my shirt would not be stained. I was provided with a bottle of water at the end of the session, and left feeling like I had some blood flow in my shoulder blades again. For a massage that's not specifically marketed towards pain relief, I'd give it a 6/10 for relieving pain. For relaxing and winding down, I'd give an 11/10. TLDR: if you need to relax a bit, this is the place. If you have mild or moderate muscle tension and pain, this is the place. If your back is a minefield, you'll get relief but perhaps not as much as a chiropractor with a massage gun.

I admit, with the affordable prices and strip mall location I was skeptical about what type of service I would receive. However, when I entered the massage studio I knew I would have a great experience. The reception area is small but inviting and the receptionist was friendly but not overbearing. The massage therapist (Hope) took the time to ask me what my concerns and pains were and based her massage on those areas and concerns. It was refreshing to have a personalized experience rather than a standard massage. She kept asking whether the level of pressure was OK (I was getting deep tissue) and kept other chatter to a minimum. I left the studio feeling refreshed and free of pain. It would have been worth $100 but Melody's has incredibly affordable prices and I only paid $40.

Having received massages for years but never an 'asian' or 'Chinese' massage I figured what the…read moreheck and gave it a shot. The place can not be considered a 'spa' by any means but the therapist more than made up for the facility. While it was clean yet unadorned, the location was convenient and they made good use of available space. The attendant spoke little to no English and used her phone as a translation device and even that was a bit bumpy. "Midi o Straw" was what I heard and quickly realized she was asking if I wanted a Medium or Strong massage. I never figured a massage was to tickle so I said "Straw". I am used to Swedish and Deep Tissue massages and this, while different did not dissapoint. I will not go into details but suffice to say that this therapist took her work seriously as she beat out the knots in my back, arms and legs. The 'Asian' approach to massage was different but appreciated. I normally enjoy a little commentary or conversation during a session but here we had mostly silence although I could make out "straw"..."straw" while she was working on some impressive knots in my upper back. I guess she figured I would pass out from the pain but I saw it through to the end, looking forward to the relief when the pain ended. Would I go back? Certainly. Was the price fair? Yes, she worked her ass off. A substantial tip was gladly handed over at the end. Looking forward to next visit.
