When I first came to see her, I was experiencing what felt like a second round of puberty at 30. After trying so many different at home care products, I found ethereal Day Spa. She speaks english well and out of nowhere she started acting like a caveman. "Huh" "whaaa" "hmmm" "aah" She said hello and I reply "hello, how are you?" She says "what" all confused . I mean she definitely heard what I said but I think she is so scared of black people she cant understand when they talk. I honestly dont think this massage spa has the smartest people. She obviously speaks English but acts like she cant hear me all of a sudden I was speaking very softly and standing a good distance away. Why should she be acting like that? Then as she takes me to the room. She is still scared like I have it out for her. I DONT KNOW YOU! As I walked in the room I ask if she's ok because her acting all timid started to make me uncomfortable. She then asks have you been here before? Why the hell does that matter. You obviously never seen me here. She just kept asking stupid ass shit that didn't make sense. Tries to hand me my money back im the room. I never even said anything close to It She then stops and tells me. It's just a massage. Well duh I didn't come here looking for anything more than that. When I go to McDonalds do they tell me they have burgers??? No that would be dumb. I finally ask to speak to someone else. She tried to say oh no she just saying people come here looking for more.... You never seen this person (me) so don't bother me about that. Im not interested. And not interested of being accused of that. I see why they have bad ratings. Read the reviews and save yourself the headache of having to deal with this place. The owner Loura cancelled my appointment without notice and I only knew because of the automated email sent out said my appointment was for a different date and time. So I reached out to her and it was the most bizarre text exchange I've ever had. Twice she asked me to Venmo her for the deposit even though I already paid and she kept dodging my questions about why she rescheduled me without notifying me. I got such a bad vibe about the whole thing and because I left that interaction with a bad taste in my mouth, I asked her for a refund. Well, how convenient that she said it's their "policy" to not refund appointment deposits. Just stay away until this place closes down. I'm sure it won't be long from now.

I experienced some bleeding later that day after my appointment and decided it was best to cancel my membership until I could further be seen by a specialist. I have been going in every day to cancel the membership and the receptionist told me that only the manager can cancel memberships. That's very odd to me. Especially, because they make it so easy to sign up, the lady that signed me up mentioned that I could pause or cancel anytime. She made it seem like it was as easy as calling in to cancel anytime. All I want is to cancel my membership due to health concerns and they won't let me. They want to charge me the first month and then they want me to call them again, then they have to get a hold of the manager that is not in the office every day, for her to send me a cancellation email, I then have to fill that out and submit. This is absurd. Word of advice, please save yourself a headache and don't come here at all. It's not worth it. I personally will not recommend to friends or family. It shouldn't be so hard to cancel a membership for someone concerned about their health. I regret deeply signing up. I am now experiencing anxiety and panic attacks because I am scared of the consequences of my heath concern and because they won't let me cancel the membership.
