This was my first time trying this location. We went as a family. I made reservations on Resy which was great because they were busy, but sat us right away. This is a very classy Italian restaurant in Flagstaff. This location does have happy hour every day which I would recommend because it is a little bit. We missed the happy hour and took a venture down the main menu. We started off with several drinks ( my Hugo was light and refreshing) and then got the whipped ricotta appetizer and the calamari appetizer. The whipped ricotta was light fluffy, and divine. For main courses our family had the chicken Parmesan, which came with a nice and large chicken portion as well as the chicken pesto pasta with pinenuts, which was my favorite. We were stuffed. Everything was wonderful. Parking downtown can be tricky so give yourself a little extra time. Would definitely come back here again.

Well executed but flavor could be better for the entrees. There was no flavor of the fish and the peach salsa seemed a bit out of place. The cous cous cake on the bottom was too chewy.

The outdoor beer garden is huge with plenty of seating, heaters for those crisp Flagstaff evenings, and sunshades for warmer days. There's indoor seating too, but the outdoor area is definitely the main attraction. It's also dog friendly, which was nice to see. You order both food and drinks at the counter and they bring everything out to you. We arrived right when they opened and there was already a line forming, so the place is clearly popular. The decor fully leans into Flagstaff's International Dark Sky designation with UFO, alien, and astronaut-themed artwork throughout the venue, which gives it a fun atmosphere. The drink selection was impressive with a huge variety of craft beers on tap plus cocktails, cider, and wine. We tried the Rainy Daze hazy IPA and the Vortices hazy double IPA. Both were smooth, flavorful, and not overly bitter or hoppy, and of course very hazy. Food was more hit or miss. The pretzel board was really good and the beer cheese was awesome. The fish and chips, however, were just okay. The fish tasted like the fryer oil probably needed to be changed, and the portions were smaller than expected with only three thin pieces of fish. The fries at least came out crispy and hot. Service was friendly, although interaction is pretty limited since everything is counter service. The all-gender bathrooms were also clean, which is always appreciated. There's a paid parking lot across the street along with metered street parking nearby. Overall, I'd come back for the atmosphere and the massive beer selection, but I'd probably skip the fried foods.

There is the museum inside an old, and kind of small, hospital, and there is grounds to walk around. When you walk through the door you enter a small gift shop area and pay your entrance fee. The guy that was helping us did a great job creeping my wife out about the place feeling haunted. The museum inside is laid out with local history and fun old hospital tools including a very shiny iron lung. They do pretty good job being inclusive of history of local minorities so it isn't just white man's history. Upstairs the museum is laid out in rooms by decade and there is a room that was a nurses room that has the original paint and most of the decor. The grounds are filled with a local logging steam locomotive and cars. You can walk through the caboose but it's all steel so when there are lightning storms it's best to vacate. There are also some old cabins that were moved to the property and they are fun to explore. If you like old tractors like I do there are a couple of examples to view and drool over. There is also a large barn filled with wagons and other tools. The museum does not take a lot of time to get through if you are dragging someone with you that doesn't like museums. I grew up in an old Victorian house felt a little like home in some ways. There was one very small and clean bathroom in the museum and you can hear everything when you are on the outside so if you are shy go before or after your visit.

Kids would be bored inside, but the outside has buildings and a train to see.
