Guy told him he would face a 25% up charge because he was from the US. Way to lead by example! I'd hate it if everyone in the world just judged me by where I was born! And apparently based on this guys treatment of his customers Canadians can be massive jerks too!

On top of that he was extremely rude and disrespectful when my brother and I were very polite. Service here has always been bad but this is a new low.

I have a friend who is really into tobacco, and Christmas is coming up. This very small store doesn't just sell cigarettes, they sell an assortment of tobacco and tobacco merchandise. There's a large assortment of zippo lighters with a variety of designs and pictures. You can also buy lighter fluid and flint here too. They also have some night flasks, tobacco pipes, and cigarette cases (including one with a naked lady on it!). I think for anyone who is a tobacco enthusiast, any of these would make a great gift.

This is a cute little shop in the Twin Atria building. The location makes it pretty inconvenient…read morefor anyone who doesn't work in the building itself, but totally perfect for those of us who work in the area. Unlike the coffee shop next door, the Smoke shop is open for the entire workday. This is really convenient when you need to grab something before going home. I've never bought any smoke related products here so I can't really comment on them, but when it comes to everything else, the selection is pretty standard. They have the same pop, juice, chocolates and gum that you could find at a 7-11. My biggest pet peeve with this shop is that I always feel like I'm interrupting a conversation when I go to the counter to pay. I have no problem with people being chatty on the job. In fact, it makes the atmosphere more comfortable. However, I almost feel like I'm inconveniencing the cashier when I want to pay for my treats.

Some places in Edmonton are a real rip-off, so I'm glad I stopped in here. The gentleman, who I will assume is the owner, was helpful enough....not super friendly but patient. The humidor was well stocked for it's size but nothing exotic or really interesting selection-wise. I'd come back here as it's close to work, but will continue my search for a shop I'd become a regular at.

They recommend that if you DON'T have a humidor, then you should buy your tobacco treats at the last minute. Fortunately, I purchased a small travel humidor for hubby last year, so I don't have to worry as much about freshness. Also this year I bought him two kinds of Colts, whiskey dipped and rum &wine dipped, plus Ports, so I won't need the humidor to hide them in. I bought myself some 'Subzero' for my vapor smoker. Nice to get a good menthol- nicotine product finally, and did you know they came in different strengths? The other place I haven't reviewed yet didn't tell me that. Like the first reviewer said, they aren't very friendly, but they do know their stuff. And they're not rude. They just don't smile or joke around. I recommend them for stocking stuffers, weddings, gifts, etc.
