For less than the cost of a Super 8, I stayed in comfort in a quaint, historic hotel. I was greeted promptly by the son, half of the mother-and-son team that owned and ran the place. The mom graciously changed my room when I decided I didn't have much of a view. The room was cute and the bathroom modern. Although my room looked out over Main Street, I slept soundly. There was coffee waiting the next morning in the lobby. Caution: there is no elevator but the son offered to take my luggage up for me and I believe there are rooms on the first floor.
