We traveled through Butte on a holiday weekend. There was NOTHING open except the Oak Creek Inn. We stopped to ask if there was a public restroom in town. She graciously invited us to use the bathroom in one of the guest rooms. This little inn looked rather shabby on the outside - in need of paint and TLC. The room she showed us to was certainly not fancy or the latest in decor. But it was SPOTLESS!!! It smelled fresh and clean with none of that musty old motel odor. As we prepared to leave, she came out to our car asked if she could get a cup of coffee or anything. We declined and I inquired about room rates. I was amazed at how reasonable the cost was. If I have occasion to travel through there again, I would definitely stay at the Oak Creek Inn. read more
