The place is clean and well lit. The food was good the price is way too high for a breakfast buffet.

I agreed to a buffet even though I fill up quickly. The decor was decent. Bright yellow walls,…read moresoothing paintings on the walls. The actual buffet was small, but still offered plenty of variety. I had ordered an extra meal aside from the buffet, chicken and mofongo. It was delicious but I was already full after eating two small soft tacos. I couldn't finish it but I was at least able to take it home. The whole experience was $33 for two people. That included unlimited drinks, the buffet, and my extra meal. Not bad. The concept of a buffet is cool but for me it's a waste because I fill up quickly and I don't like to stuff myself. This place is overrated and over priced. Although, our waitress was warm and friendly. They had a pasta station but the young lady in charge of creating the pasta would dissapear for long period of time, she was gone for over 20 minutes with no replacement. When asked why a taco station was offerred without the main ingredients to create any, the waitress and manager responds were careless and unapologetic. They simply stated that the shells and tortillas ranned out in the morning, okay understandable but why serve the condiments... In addition we arrived at 6pm to dine if they could not replinish them, they should have removed them.Overall, we spend 88 dollars on a buffet for 2 seniors and 4 adults although economical for those from the states and I would have returned; given the service, category/ taste of food and overall experience it was definatley a disappointment. My local relatives had better experience in the past and were surprise as they accompany us to see how much the restuarant had decline. Hopefully, they will look into making some changes for the future so that all patrons have the same experience.

I stayed here for several nights and enjoyed the resort. It was a beautiful property with a pool,…read moreplenty of lounge chairs, water slides, and a swim-up bar. The $65/person/day resort fee was quite steep and included use of the pool, lounge chairs, tennis court, pickleball court, yoga classes, and the gym. I think you could even ask for a personal trainer. I only used the gym. The gym was in the basement of the hotel, which was depressing, but I appreciated the cold, mint-scented sweat towels. The rooms were standard and adequate. My room had a partial ocean view. The windows filtered out the street noise, but the interior walls were paper-thin. I could hear the guest next-door texting, and woke up several times from hallway noise (1 star off). The location in Condado is walking distance to the beach, many good restaurants, coffee shops, a pharmacy, a post office, and a small grocery store. Old San Juan is further out and requires a short car ride. If you are looking for a touristy and resorty hotel, this hotel is a good choice.

It's our 3rd time staying at this resort on Condado Beach. We keep coming back for the location…read more The beach is so beautiful here. It does have a little bit of history. It was the site of the infamous Dupont Plaza Hotel fire (arson in the casino) back in 1986. It's the one that led to stricter enforcement of hotel fire and safety codes in the US. I didn't know about it until my cousin recognized it when picking us up at the hotel back in 2019. You would never know otherwise just by looking at it. During our most recent visit, we were welcomed with a scent of L'Occitane upon entering the lobby. It has been renovated since the last time we were there. It just seemed more open and bright. It's a very nice first impression. The service is great. We arrived for early check-in. Our room was ready. Yay! All the resort amenities were explained. We were given wristbands for access to the pool and beach areas, and then off we went to the 7th floor. We typically receive rooms on higher floors, but the 7th floor ended up working very well for us. Right away, we noticed that it was a corner room with 2 balconies. We must have somehow received an upgrade. It was a very nice surprise. The room was clean & comfortable. The A/C is adequate, but could be better. The air flow has actually improved a little since our last visit. The best part is the sound of the waves crashing on shore and that beautiful view. There is more than enough food & drink options at this resort such as Cosecha, Café Mercado, Sakana, Terrazzo, Azure Lounge, and many bars. They were all knew to us. I think the only deal breaker is the premium cost of goods when purchasing anything on the property. Just know that there are many awesome restaurants and bars along Ashford Avenue. It's all very walkable and safe. There are also other affordable Marriott options in Condado if this one isn't a good fit. We saw them as we walked along Ashford. We'll continue to book this resort in the future. Condado is a great location for sun & fun. It's close to Old San Juan, the port, and even the airport. It was the perfect pre-cruise hotel for us.

We originally had another restaurant on our radar but BOY were we happy we decided to take the short walk from the ship pier to Cravin' Crabs! They even serve Pancit (a delicious filipino noodle/spaghetti dish) I was not expecting to see that on the menu! Then when we left we realized there's a Filipino deli right next-door. So apparently it's authentic. The seafood was fresh and all the sides were unique and scrumptious! There was one side we enjoyed, we were not sure what it was, we could only decide it was the mashed potatoes, it tasted and had the texture more of some sort of dressing. Our server asked if we wanted some of the Tuscan seafood gravy on it and Yes, Yes, yes!! We did!! There was a little bit of a language barrier but we just pointed at what we wanted and it all worked out!! The food is right in front of you like cafeteria style so you can see what you are getting. My husband and I split one Tuscan Seafood plate with two sides, that was MORE than enough for the two of us for lunch. We'd definitely go back next time we are in ST. Thomas. Bravo!
