Asgeir Bollason with Asgeir Fotographica is the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER and here is why...... Asgeir's photos are crisp, clear, artistic and Asgeir has an incredible way of blending in with the crowd and being non obtrusive and yet he is able to truly capture the "moment" in every photo he takes. Such a wonderful talent he is! I hired Asgeir to take photos of a huge event I hosted in June 2021. Prior to the day of my event, Asgeir was very responsive to me, he listened to me and he was clear and concise as to he could do for me. He communicated very well. Asgeir took some photos of my family prior to the event and I have to tell you......THESE PHOTOS ALONE were well worth it. They say a picture is worth a thousand words....well, as long as Asgeit takes the photos, then yes it is. Asgeir is a true artist. So, if you are serious about hiring the best, then hire Asgeir Fotographica....there is NO ONE better!

We didn't want anything too cheesy, but just wanted a photographer to capture more of the emotional moments on our special day (as well as some grouped family photos). We had a guest list of about 70 people on Saturday and a guest list of about 200 on Sunday and Asgeir did a phenomenal job on both! The Sunday wedding reception was held in a Vietnamese Banquet Hall in Westminster, CA. It was about 85 degrees that day and my parents wanted basically an hour of pictures before the reception began with family (like 100 people). Asgeir was such a great sport and although probably tired from our wedding ceremony the day before, he did yet another fantastic job on the pictures. He sent us preview pics about two weeks after our wedding (while we were still on our honeymoon, actually). And then we got the pictures back via Dropbox about two months later. TWO MONTHS! My sister had gotten married a year before us and my husband and I received ours before her. I feel like because he's just so good of a photographer, he didn't really need to photoshop any of our pictures. My husband and I definitely recommend Asgeir and hope that when we have children, he can take pictures of them as well! He's just so calm and mellow. It was a real pleasure to work with him!

But the moment she volunteered as tribute to come to my wedding, in the middle of freaking nowhere, WAY out of her way, to not only help capture it, but she also manned the epic photo booth (8 foot banners are no match for this chick) AND help me drive the props all the way (hi, coming over days before the wedding on her own time)!? Omg... above and beyond doesn't describe her. Trista is as talented as she is fun to be around -- which is A WHOLE FREAKING LOT!!! If you want a photographer who's got your back, who never stops smiling, who really really cares, and who gives you epic final products: Altar Image Photography (and Trista herself) is the photography gift that will keep on giving. This unprofessional behavior has caused us to lose invaluable memories. Absolutely unacceptable.

This review is loooong overdue...Mike and his team DJ'ed our wedding reception back in October 2018…read moreand he exceeded all of our expectations. He is extremely professional and exudes good vibes all around! My mom, my now husband, and I KNEW we wanted him to DJ our wedding immediately after our first meeting. To begin, he came to the venue (backyard reception at my mom's home) months prior to the event and helped my mom figure out details like where the bar & bartender would be, where our grand entrance would be, whether she should get square or rectangle tables, where the food (buffet) was going to be served, where the dance floor was, etc. He essentially acted as a wedding coordinator as well as a DJ. Before the event we had a few conference calls with Mike to ensure we were all on the same page. I really really appreciated this because I'm a huge planner and I like to know exactly what's going on at all times. I didn't really have any worries at any point during the planning process because I just knew Mike would come through. He is truly amazing at what he does. The day of our reception, Michael kept the party going and just as I expected, everything went exactly as planned. The music, the lighting (he had some beautiful color changing lights that he scattered throughout the venue which came on at night, truly gorgeous), the energy, it was all just perfect. I'm so thankful that we found Mike and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for an event, you won't regret it!!

WOW! Is all I have to say about Michael and this company…read more I inquired about a quote for a Dee Jay for my birthday party and sent a request through their site. Shortly after, Michael called me and we talked about my party and what I was looking for. I saw on the site, they also offer Photobooths so I asked if it was possible to make a slight change to the photobooth and personalize it a bit for my party and sure enough, they were able to accommodate! I booked a DeeJay and Photobooth package. I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed. All the music I had asked for were played and during our special dance...the Dancing on Clouds added such an emotional touch to our heartfelt song. It was BEYOND BEAUTIFUL! Professional, Communicative, Efficient and Wonderful would be the best words to describe what you are paying for when You decide to book them for an event. It isn't always easy to come by, but when you have an opportunity to work with good people, you just do! I'm very happy with the way everything turned out. Thank You Michael, DJ Cali and entire staff who helped! You guys Rock!

I am jealous of the couples who have their weddings documented so lovingly by Sara Knobel photo!
