Then we got some dim sum. They we quite dried out on the top and contained a rubbery ball of white business that I couldn't bring myself to eat. Then we shared a chicken stir fry dish. The rice was overcooked. The sauce was bland but edible but the fried chicken was horrible, I wouldn't have even known it was chicken. I found one edible piece in the plate. On top of it all my apfelschorle was made with flat water. There is no reason to ever go to this place.

For a moment I thought that was back the States and dining in a Chinatown restaurant. This place is quite authentic as in being Chinese in all regards. The boss won't hesitate to drop by the kitchen and get his hand dirty. And they don't offer you made-up Chinese cuisines, which many restaurants do. You can understand each and every dish by google its name. Kinda tricky but it helps.

It's more of a traditional old style Chinese restaurant that deals with an older clientele, so no thumping music etc... But the food is 2nd to none! On top of the great food, the staff are friendly, clean and prompt and their new location on Oranienburgerstraße lends itself well to the other establishments in the area. With the new location comes a function room too that can handle 80 covers quite easily. If only my local Chinese was as consistently good.:(

I also brought my friends to try Indonesian for the first time. They suggested to try their most recommended food: chicken with sumatra sauce and my friends loved it so much!!
