Update on my October 16, 2025 Gold House review of the Turquoise and Diamond bracelet that broke TWICE within three weeks, and where the Gold House (which is affiliated also with Kenny Diva Diamonds and any Santa Fe jewelry store run by Suleiman Management) refused a refund per New Mexico Consumer Law. WARNING: An independent appraisal validated that the 18-carat gold band WAS NOT 18-caret gold. The Turquoise is not the MINED turquoise we were told by the Gold House; it is SYNTHETIC Turquoise which is easily made in the lab, and costs 50% to 70% cheaper. Thus, the (fake) appraisal that they gave me certifying the estimated value of the bracelet was FRADULENT. DO NOT SHOP HERE. . . . and BE CAREFUL of ANY jewelry store selling "authentic, mined" turquoise. Here are the facts: If you're comparing Santa Fe-area mined turquoise to synthetic turquoise, the differences are substantial: * Natural turquoise has geological authenticity, cultural significance, and collector value. * Synthetic turquoise is visually similar but lacks natural structure, rarity, and provenance. _ _ _ _ _ The presence of mined (natural) turquoise versus synthetic turquoise can dramatically change the appraised value of a bracelet--often by a factor of 5× to 50×, depending on quality, provenance, and craftsmanship. _ _ _ _ _ How Turquoise Type Affects Appraised Value 1. Then we began looking past Pandora case into the jewelry cases. We found a large selection of one-off jewelry. We bought a new wedding ring set on that trip, we've bought rings, a custom made Kokopelli, chains and more than a few pandoras. The quality of their product is excellent. Since each piece is one of a kind you'll never see the exact same jewelry worn by someone else. Neat store hidden over across from the miraculous staircase church. Half gallery, half jewelry store. They have really amazing glass chandeliers that I guess are handmade blown glass. Really pretty! They also have some glass bowls that are all different colors on the walls. Their jewelry is all different kinds, some pretty opal and turquoise!! I purchased wedding rings from Gold House in the summer of 2008. The rings were defective and Gold House replaced them. The replacement rings were also defective and I asked for my money back which they verbally promised to do if I was not satisfied, and they refused. It took many emails, letters, a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau of NM, and finally enlisting the help of the Attorney General's Office of NM, for Gold House to return the money for the rings. This took approximately 8 months to resolve. Gold House did not take responsibility for the defective rings and it was very difficult to get my money refunded. As I understand it, mine was not the first complaint against them to the New Mexico Attorney Generals' office. I would never do business with Gold House again. Beware! read more

Yes, there is beautiful jewelry here...most jewelers have this. What sets them apart is the service. My husband bought me a beautiful opal and diamond ring here over 10 years ago. I have worn it almost daily and some of the opals have been damaged. Jewelers I have asked about repairs have either said no or offered expensive repairs. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! Their 100% guarantee is as useless as the hot air used to describe it. I purchased a ring from this store while on vacation. The exact purchase date was July 16, 2016. They took forever to ship it (was told it would take a week, but it actually took three weeks). I was told that they provide a 100% satisfaction lifetime guarantee on the ring's craftsmanship, and they would repair any defects free of charge. Flash forward four month later to Thanksgiving. I wore this ring for the 4th time in four months. When I went to take it off after wearing it to Thanksgiving dinner, I noticed the center stone was missing. I am extremely careful with jewelry, and hadn't worn a coat or any other garment that would have snagged on the ring. There was no trauma to my hand that would have caused the ring to become structurally unsound enough that the center stone would become dislodged. I called Gold House the next day and was told they only guarantee inlay work, not center stones. What a load of crap from some of the most dishonest salespeople I've ever encountered. What kind of jewelry store sells rings that fall apart after four months and then treats their customers like this? Shoddy craftsmanship. Shoddy "guarantees" Shady salespeople.
