This was really important to me as my side of the family is predominately mandarin-speaking and we wanted them to understand announcements. It was a great experience from the start. Brian was able to hop on a call and let us know the process immediately. I felt their services were reasonably priced and you're able to pay in installments which definitely helped with budgeting. They're always reachable by email and you can add services later on without issue. They use a special app called Vibo that allows you to add all the specific songs you want for certain parts of the day (ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, etc). It's even detailed and customizable down to adding in specific comments on how to play certain songs. About 2 weeks before our big day Limin our DJ had a very in-depth call with us to review the playlist and discuss how we wanted certain things done. On our wedding day Limin was fantastic and definitely delivered! He made all the announcements needed and helped guide guests to where they needed to be. He provided microphones for speeches and uplighting for the dance floor. Limin came a few hours beforehand to set up and stayed after for takedown. I'm overall very happy with Posh Life DJ collective and would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family getting married in the area!

From our very first communication with him, Justin was professional, responsive, and eager to help us do exactly what we wanted within our budget. We were NOT disappointed! We found Justin to be by far the easiest and most enjoyable of our vendors to work with. Ours was an outdoor wedding, with a bunch of different sound needs all over our venue. Justin met with us twice in person, exchanged numerous emails, and worked closely with us to figure out everything that would be needed to pull it all off. He was wonderful. Most of all, we just loved his easy-going demeanor-- fit our style perfectly! And of course, our wedding went off beautifully. Perfect music, great dancing, everyone had a blast (and told us so!). Dub C DJs (Andrew) DJ'd my wedding this July, and it was perfect. We got married in a two floor…read morerestaurant and relied on their equipment for the ceremony upstairs, dinner toasts downstairs, and then the reception upstairs. We also planned for an outdoor cocktail hour that had to move indoors because of rain, and Andrew made that shift work in a way we didn't even notice. We had a bunch of specific and not very easygoing requests (eg. please do not play any of these songs, followed by a list of all the classic wedding songs...please play this song right before the processional...please play this song at 10 pm) and a wedding ceremony that didn't follow the traditional format (we had a reading prior to the processional), and Andrew made everything go off seamlessly. He also talked us out of some not so good song ideas. For the reception portion, Andrew kept people of all ages on the dance floor all night. At one point a woman in her 60s said goodbye to me and let me know she had to leave for an early train the next day, and then because of the music Andrew had on she ended up returning to the dance floor for another 30 minutes before leaving. Also we're not Jewish but he played Hava Nagila and everyone danced the Hora and that was pretty great. It's also worth noting that we got married in a venue that had never hosted a full wedding before and none of us were entirely sure how it would go, so a lot of flexibility and a fairly zen presence on Andrew's part made a real difference during the planning process and on our wedding day.

He never said anything cringey or embarrassing, but was able to make solid (fun, energetic) announcements when needed. One of my favorite memories of our wedding is cutting our cake to "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by CAKE (get it?) and hearing the guests singing along. It was a blast. We got a lot of compliments on our wedding and many on our DJ in particular.

She continually alluded to this other wedding of whom we loosely knew who the other people were. It was very annoying. She continually sent us tasks to do that were due by the end of the day with both my bride and me having full time jobs. We were also told by another couple that they "accidentally" received our wedding day itinerary from Valerie. Which was extremely unprofessional. Finally on the day of, her crew were late, and the DJ played songs out of order. I will say that the final product was outstanding and our wedding was fantastic. Tommy, the owner, was great, but Valerie made the experience less than desirable and extremely stressful for a day that is supposed to be exciting. Why it's a 3 star review.
