E've heard about Chef Sau Del Rosario so we wazed our way to Cafe Fleur. It's an old house converted to a 2 floored restaurant. Cafe Fleur offers Thai food and Filipino food. We didn't try their Thai food but concentrated on our old time Filipino dishes. The Tamales Pampanguena is divine. Try de-constructed it in a way that it is like a creamy paste with the usual tamales flavors. It goes with 2 pieces of bread where you can spread the tamales or just simply eat it in its cream form. You can taste the coconut milk and the peanut flavor. There's also shredded chicken and salted egg. The tamales is really good and I won't mind ordering another one. We also tried their Crispy Pancit LugLug. At first look, it like a bowl of seafood. It's an upgraded version of our old time favorite palabok. Instead of the big noodles, they used Sotanghon noodles. It's not the crunch that I was hoping for. It's a by firm as a it crunchy. But the flavor is awesome! Love the shrimp sauce of this dish. It has crispy fried shrimps, boiled shrimp, tuna pasta flakes and hard boiled egg. Another element that they added is shredded kani stick. It really goes well with the shrimp sauce. It is really great and this order is good for 2-3 persons as well. And for desserts, we tried their best seller Bibingka Cheesecake. I was hoping for a more Bibingka flavor to it though. Basically it's a cheesecake with salted egg and grilled cheese. It actually works. The sweetness and acidity of the cheesecake compliments well with the salted egg. It's not that salty and plus the grilled cheese element, it is awesome. pongTrip Recommended: - Tamales Pampangueno - Crispy Pancit Luglug

Fresh chicken is cooked to order, so there's a little bit of a wait; but it's worth it for piping hot, crispy, juicy chicken. When we walked in, there was a large group of loud college students in the dining room. I looked at hubby and we were contemplating on walking out. I happened to notice that one of the waitresses was coming out of a small hallway holding a bill. Wait a minute.... there is another dining area past the bathrooms. There are semi-private and private rooms available; but since there were only two of us, we sat in the semi-private room. WE ORDERED: - Ramyun mild - the noodles reminded me of instant noodles. They were ok but tasted better after adding a little kimchi. - 1/2 order Sweet & Spicy Chicken - my favorite flavor here. It was served hot and crispy with a spicy sweet caramelized glaze: finger lickin good! - Complimentary banchan - Fresh and crunchy, perfect compliment to the chicken. The wait staff can't see you if you're in the semi and private room away from the main dining area, they rely on you to push that call button that's located at the end of your table. I appreciate that they come quickly; but you can also stop any of the wait staff passing by, even if they're not your primary waiter/tress. Your can never go wrong with CHICKEN WANGS!!!

My flight from Puerta Princesa got in around 5 p.m. and my main goal was to find local food safely served. The Orange Bucket fit the bill perfectly. The restaurant has maybe 30 tables and seems to cater to diners interested in fresh seafood boils - reminded me a lot of what I've seen and partaken of in southern Louisiana, with steamed crawfish and fresh seafood. The restaurant was well-lit, spotlessly clean, and well-managed. I went in at the door and immediately met a staff member who offered me my choice of seats. Picnic table seating, spacious and comfortable. No alcohol (which was pretty much the case everywhere I went except for the hotel bars). I was staying at the Belmont Hotel just a couple of blocks down the street and had no difficulty finding the Orange Bucket based on what was posted online. I had the beef bulgogi (641 PSP) - perfect! With (I believe) rice noodles and an A&W root beer (90 PSP). Perfect sized for a hungry traveler, seasoned just like I remember from my time serving with the US Army in Pusan, Korea. Given the quality of the service and the great taste of the food, a definite 5-star experience.

RATING FOR DELIVERY…read more Thai food at a seafood restaurant? I was curious; it never hurts to try. Looking at their Facebook page, they have frequent promos, which works well with my bargainista ways. We ordered from foodpanda: our food arrived fairly quickly (we live 1.4 miles away), and the food was nice and piping HOT! WE'VE TRIED - Tom Yum - meaty shrimp in delicious broth - Pad Thai - lots of Tofu. This is the closest you can get to authentic Thai, here in Angeles City. WHAT?! Delicious Thai food at a Cajun seafood joint? Who would have guessed?! Yup, we're ordering from here again! FYI: Located in a plaza behind Max's

Their main attraction now is their exotic dishes: goat, frog, mole cricket, crocodile, and even ostrich. My cousins were visiting from out of town, a couple of them even came all the way from the Middle East! They wanted to eat Kapampangan food, so naturally, I brought them here. Before entering, we had to show them our Covid vaccine certificates then we were led to a long table that would accommodate our big group. Dining is al fresco so no air con, just fans. We excitedly ordered the following: - Mango shake was good - Pinapaitang Kambing - goat in bile soup. I'm not a fan of pinapaitan in the first place; but my Ilocano dad would love this. Much better with a squeeze of kalamansi. - Kamaru - mole crickets. The crickets still had some crunch to them and were cooked in a delicious garlic soy based sauce. This was everyone's favorite dish. - Betute - field frogs stuffed with minced pork and deep fried. I didn't try this. - Fried Hito (catfish) with buru (fermented rice) - loved the catfish but didn't like the buru. - Pork sisig was ok. - Leche Flan was ok - Turon with home made buko ice cream was DELISH!!!!! The wait staff were dressed as safari guides. They were knowledgeable of their menu, which made ordering easier. After we enjoyed our meal, we walked over to The Paris Cafe to take pictures in front of a replica of the Eiffel tower. The Wooden Table and Cafe BOM are also located in the same compound. My family had a great time, I'm sure we'll be back to try their other exotic offerings.
