They use weed-and-feed treatments that are safer for the environment and for those of us managing chronic illness--a huge priority for our family. What a difference a year makes. Hired these guys last year after I wasn't happy with a competitors results. They come monthly and treat the lawn. I did do the seeding and aeration in the fall and can see the results now in the spring. I will continue to use them and look forward to what the year brings. read more

Very pleased with the service Going Green has provided me over the past year. Historically my yard gets destroyed with crab grass yearly. This year I did see a couple very small pockets pop up (nothing close to what I've seen in past years) but as soon as I made them aware I had some pop up they came out to retreat on two occasions. Had the yard overseeded a month ago and just checked the lawn and I have fantastic grass growing in spots I've never had grass! Overall am very pleased with the service I have received this year and would highly recommend. They kept my yard looking great all year long! read more

I have attempted canceling my service with them for months now. I have been unhappy for a while, as my back yard has been dirt and mud. They give email updates on how your lawn and soil is, and they just said it was good every time and gave no notice or suggestions on why my backyard has been dirt after multiple aeration and seeding applications. I even brought out another company while still paying going green to tell me what is wrong with my yard. Turns out my issue is erosion, which I brought up to going green and asked if there was anything they could do, at least lay down some straw next time they seeded, and they told me I could purchase and apply it myself. So I did, along with more seed that I applied myself, and now I finally have some grass. That being said, I wanted to cancel my service with them as I have been dissatisfied and I am Trying to save some money during this pandemic. When I informed them that I was canceling, they told me that I would need to pay them the money I "owe them" As they bill for the year and not for the service, and that I still owe for the aeration and seeding (which I had to personally correct, spending more money, time and labor). I asked them to supply the contract that I must have signed agreeing to this (I didn't sign anything) And apparently the (owner? Manager?) didn't like this, because he then called me. His manor was completely unprofessional, spoke rapidly and with a rude tone, and hardly let me get a word in to tell him that I was in the middle of something and that we could discuss this via email. So now I have sent multiple emails and follow ups attempting to civilly communicate with this company, and have received nothing in response but invoices! Yes, they have continued to charge me, and are about to charge me again on the 15th unless I contact my bank to see how I can stop this. Frankly I don't enjoy wasting my energy writing poor reviews but seeing as this company has been utterly unreasonable and disrespectful, I felt the need to share this information with the public. I do not recommend this company. I invite the company to contact me to make this right and I will happily update my review. read more

Used for one season. They did not do a good job keeping up with the weeds- especially nutsedge. The final straw was when they did a poor job putting down seed. The did not put down enough seed in bare spots and they did not double aerate the bare areas like they said they would. Worst of all, they got seed in my beds. Their solution to my dissatisfaction- to terminate the relationship. Most companies try to fix problems. Not Going Green. Better luck next year. We had been getting a lot of rain so I was able to get my yard cut by someone on 06/20/15. On 06/22/15 just 2 days later Going Green came by and cut my freshly cut yard when I was not home. I called Going Green on 06/23/15 and asked why they cut when you could clearly see if had just been cut, and the gentleman said because it was on the schedule. I told him I didn't want Going Green to cut my yard again. The gentleman said I would be getting an invoice by email and hung up on me, before I was able to ask him if there was a comprise we could come to in order to resolve this issue. I called back and left a message for a supervisor or owner to call and have not heard from anyone as of to date. I own a lawn care company but we don't cut in this area as it is an hour drive from company. We never cut a yard that has already been cut just to take someone's money. That is very bad business. Due to the gentleman's ruddiness, I will not be paying this invoice and would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
