He really knows the game and has taught our son so much already, and he does it in such a way that they are having fun while learning. We had never heard of Newton Heath before last year, and we went back and forth with the decision, but are so glad that we are part of the Newton Heath family now. It is amazing to witness how each member of the team has improved already!

A key differentiating factor for NH is our focus on connecting with players that have a strong work ethic and desire to improve. They offer two bathrooms for the fest, which were large and stayed clean. Major bonus points for people who are drinking for 3 hours! The whole place was so spacious. They were able to even fit a food truck, a camper, and a van, plus tables for 150 beer vendors, and a band. Also tables to sit and take a break/eat. It was a busy fest, but did not feel overcrowded because of all the space. Workers here were friendly and helpful, and were able to make check in successful. I think if the venue had stunk, I would choose one of the 100s of other beer fests around to go to, but because of this site, I will remain a loyal customer. I'd consider coming back to try out their new pub too!

Coach Bobby and his entire team is the BEST for introducing a child to and developing them in…read moresoccer.  He makes it fun but manages to run a real coaching academy with kids who naturally don't have attention spans.  He really has a gift for teaching kids!I cannot express enough how positive of an impression Coach Bobby makes on youth soccer players and their parents. My son started his weekly lessons in 2014 and I'm very pleased with the quality of the program. I've observed many coaches and programs in other academies but they are not as talented as coaches working at Happy Feet Soccer. My son is fortunate to have good coaching and gain the fundamentals early ( he just turned 6). His sessions include different technical and tactical training focus areas each week followed by games where the skills can be practiced.  During the games, Coach Bobby stops players at key points and helps them understand what the alternatives are for their next move or what they could have done differently to have a better result. Each week he learned important parts of the game including footwork, shooting, dribbling, shielding, passing, and so much more.  He was learning technical techniques and tactical approaches at an early age that were usually taught to older players.   My sons sessions and his training became a key part of his life that he looked forward to each week.  In addition to building strong soccer skills, he established many great friendships with the other players that attended sessions with him over the years. I attribute much of the skill, passion, and love he has for the game to Coach Bobby's teachings and the weekly sessions he attended with the Happy Feet Coaches. I would recommend for them to try out Coach Bobbys Happy Feet soccer.  I would strongly encourage anyone who has children who enjoy soccer and who want to improve their playing skills and endurance to check out his soccer academy. I think this new location is better now that the store is attached to the indoor fields. The parking is a little tough, not enough spaces in the parking lot on days when there are games being played. This is a different park not based around monkey bars. There's a large sand section, though the small water splashpad was turned off for the summer of 2020. There is a very safe zipline kids can hang from. A few slides embedded in the elevations changes, but most of the rubber footing is meant to be climbed on and over. With elevation changes abound, you are sure to get a workout chasing your child all around this large park. Be careful not to pull a calf muscle on the various inclines. For those not familiar with Burr Ridge, the location is obscure. Tucked in an odd corner near County Line Rd and I-55. there is an industrial district, residential and an odd electrical power station surrounding the park. It's worth the drive to give your kids a different park experience.
