Do not book with this company. We needed to back out less than 12 hours from booking on the last day we could possibly do so. I was trying to coordinate a trip with 50 families and they backed out at the last minute. Gogo Charters doesn't care! They'll take my $460 and laugh all the way to the bank. Our need for a charter bus was very last minute as we had an event come up unexpectedly and I needed to rea serve two coach buses for the trip. Ended Up on the phone with a representative from GOGO charters who was able to help me book the buses and the entire thing was simple and I thought price was great. Buses showed up on time and both drivers were great and had the trip route planned out ahead of time so i didn't need to provide the details again to them. The guy pressured me on the phone to book the 2 buses for a trip that was over 2 months away. I wasn't sure if the trip would work out because I was trying to also secure a performance for my band at the time and asked him what if I need to cancel? He said that would be ok and mentioned absolutely nothing about not getting my deposit back. I found out less than 24 hours later that the trip wouldn't work out so I cancelled the trip right away. 3 days later I received the cancellation email but no return on deposit. Remember I gave them more than two months to rebook those buses! I called and they said their policy was to never return a deposit. Doesn't matter how fast you call back. I've booked plenty of buses before and no one else has this policy. I would understand if the trip was the next week or something but that wasn't the case. Don't book with these people if you might need to cancel. read more

Terrible customer service! Asked about general pricing for a minibus a week from today's date. They said it was a last minute booking and the manager would need to talk to me. They wanted all my contact info and I said, "Before we go through all this, can I just a general idea on pricing?" The manager said, "we can't help you" and hung up on me. Unbelievable. read more

Another one star review to add to the list of dissatisfied GOGO Charters customers. We put a deposit down on a bus because it was the last day to secure the bus supposedly, but we were hesitant because it was on behalf of a non-profit and we'd have no way to recoup the money if the plan went up in smoke, which it did less than 10 hours later. The nice saleswoman made it sound like it would be no problem to get the deposit back. After all, it was less than 24 hours later and the situation was completely out of our control, but the manager was in a meeting. After a number of calls, someone else said the answer was no. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said that she'd already asked the manager and the answer was no and they wouldn't talk to me. I understand that businesses take deposits for a reason, but I think businesses should be somewhat empathetic to unpaid volunteers who are sometimes put into positions that are out of their control and can be very costly with no recourse. read more
