Vegans on the prairies can be a tough reality, but we were here two days in a row, coming and going…read morefrom a festival we were performing at in Alberta, and it really hit the spot. It's amazing what one or two employees in a tiny, but comfortable and nicely decorated space can pull off! We enjoyed the masala chai tea with almond milk - spicy, not too sweet, very flavorful and fresh, the fresh salad rolls with peanut sauce, a Indian spiced, roasted cauliflower dish, the maki bowl, and especially the warm lentil and beetroot salad with arugula, pecans, quinoa, and a slightly spicy, slightly sweet light sauce. There were so many things we didn't try - like vegan scones, breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, and other drinks it's a shame we only pass through Saskatoon once every year or two. We hope this place does well and we can stop in next time we come to town.
