BEWARE! Total fraudster and con man - big talk, big promises, utterly unable to perform…read more Misappropriated a significant part of the money I gave him for labor for his "teams" - there aren't any teams - by spending it on a family member's school graduation . Even lied about having a truck. A contractor without a truck is like a pianist without a piano. Drinks on the job and denies it with big bravado when called out in it. Takes deposits promising teams of workers then suddenly has excuses for no one showing up. Tries to complete the work himself or with some poor unwitting "number two" he's just hired with promises of a future payday but he isn't able to finish the work in any reasonable amount of time by even the lowest of professional standards of timeliness. Super defensive when called out on his non performance - acts like you're the problem - when truth is he lied about his contacts with workers in Austin- turns out he barely knows a soul - and lies about his skill set level. He has some general handy man level skills but he is no contractor, a job which requires money management, significant time management and a deep network of skilled trades in a town where everyone is booked. He'll try to overlap various jobs- paint, drywall, trim - saying you'll save money if " you let him do it his way. But he is incapable of managing overlaps of trades (he doesn't have any tradesmen) and if you have a bank construction loan they won't like overlaps anyway. He sucks you into the overlaps so you'll give him a bigger deposit - the. When more and more time goes by with unfinished work in each category he'll try to talk you into giving him more money. It's a con that'll work for a few weeks until you wake up with multiple categories of unfinished, poorly done work. You'll fire him eventually once you realize you paid him for multiple labor teams that never showed up, but guess what? He's got your money. Don't just stay away - RUN AWAY from this toxic lowlife. Better yet, call The police.
