I had an extremely horrible experience with this company…read more Our agreement was for two movers and a 16-foot truck. They arrived about two hours late, and instead of what we had booked, they sent one mover with a small van. Racheal from the company admitted there had been an error and said they would adjust the price, but the eventual adjustment was minimal and nowhere close to reflecting the completely different service we received. They let you load your stuff and then take you hostage until you pay. Because only one mover showed up, we ended up helping him load our belongings while he tried to do the work that was supposed to be handled by two people. I actually felt sorry for the mover because he appeared to have been put in an impossible position by the company. They had this male employee on the phone who was refusing to communicate with me and explain the pricing. He kept telling the mover to not move the stuff and to give us a hard time. Once our things were loaded, we were told they would not proceed unless payment was made. At the same time, the company would not properly communicate with us or clearly explain the pricing. With our possessions already inside their van, we felt we had no practical choice but to pay almost the full amount despite not receiving the service we had agreed to. When we reached the destination, there was yet another issue: the mover then said he could not move the belongings upstairs because of instructions he had apparently received. This was completely different from what we understood we were paying for. The condition of the van was also unacceptable. It had a very strong foul odor, which transferred onto our belongings, and some of our items were damaged during the move. The whole experience felt extremely misleading and coercive. The service provided was substantially different from what was agreed to, communication around pricing was poor, and having our belongings already loaded made us feel pressured into paying. I also feel bad for the individual mover who was sent alone. He was left to deal with frustrated customers while trying to perform a two-person job by himself. Whatever is happening behind the scenes at this company, it does not appear fair to either customers or the workers. I would not use this company ever again and would advise anyone not to trust their agreements, quotes or estimates. They will just lie to you and once your stuff is loaded, they will pressure you until you pay.

The customer service person even suggested a package of balloons that would save money. They have good hours they open early. I really needed that to be able to pick up the balloons the day of the party. There were a lot of customs shopping for Halloween. They have enough selection that your party won't look like the neighbours. If my next several visits are as good, the rating will change to a 5.
