Ok SPROUTS!! Ya know I love ya but you have GOT TO DO BETTER!!!!! I stopped in this past sunday…read morenight as I always do when I go past. Didn't need anything but thought id have a look to see if I could find any deals. And I did!! Found these spicy sausage links 2 packs for $4!!!! A $10 savings!! Score!! Or so i thought. After checking every package ( and there were about 10 packs) much to my shagrin, sadness, surprise and anger!! EVERY PACK WAS TO BE USED OR FROZEN BT 2/15/2026!!! Sunday evening was 2/28/2026!!! What gives?!?!?! Im a regular at this south Tampa store. Know most employees by name and love it there. But YOUVE GOT TO DO BETTER! THIS IS HOW I.FEED MYSELF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND YOU HAVE EXPIRED FOOD FROM 2 WEEKS FOR SALE ON YOUR SHELVES!! UNACCEPTABLE!! Someone obviously isn't doing there job health wise me my friends and family would have paid the price had I not checked every single package!! Not to mention hoe does this happen??? We're they in the shelf before 2/15 and were put on sale. Or were they put out recently with Noone concerned about checking the expiration date!! Your going to at the very least make someone sick if not worse!! I love this store and will continue to shop here but will be extra diligent on checking the dates especially since this is not the first time this has happened. But it is the longest out of date I've seen as of yet! And while im on the subject. You have a great DELI dept. And have been putting lunch meats and cheeses on special for $1.99 and $2.99 per pound since they only have a day or two left date wise. Which is great for the consumer since we get a good deal and less waste for the store as well. But now that.price has jumped up.to $5.99 a pound?!?!?!!!! Not such a good deal at all especially when ya got a day or two left before consumption!!! For that price id rather pay regular price and have the assurance of a week at least to consume! Not to mention i see alot less sales on that price and much more waste. Lose/lose for all concerned. So pls DO BETTER!!! YOU HAVE TOO!! YOU HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS TO DELL SAFE PRODUCTS THAT ARE NOT OUT OF DATE! ESPECIALLY BY 2 WEEKS! And I still love my Maryann, Diamond, neesce, Alex, Kia, Jimmy, makayla, and my other beauty in the DELI who's name escapes me but you know who you are! All the glue that goes their respective departments together!

May I suggest: I've been a customer of theirs for over ten…read moreyears now, so believe me when I say, they've only gotten BETTER. As a busy nurse with a tight schedule, I have no time to work, and eating healthy can be a challenge. Luckily, Fitlife Foods has me covered, and I actually really enjoy these meals, so it makes getting through my shifts so much easier. Their breakfasts are a nice little treat for me. I have them on Sunday for a little Sunday brunch without leaving home--and on my first day at work, too! Lately my faves for dinner have been their Cacio e Pepe for dinner (I tend to doctor up some of the pasta with my own touch--broccoli microgreens for an extra splash of nutrition and color, so now my veggies are covered) pasta ala vodka. But it's their DESSERT game that really has me taking notice. I've loved their pumpkin cheesecake for years, and just when I thought nothing can top it--I WAS WRONG. Their new raspberry cheesecake has actually dethroned it. Creamy, rich, with just the right amount of tart from the raspberry atop a chocolate cookie crust, just like their pumpkin cheesecake, its a taste of decadence that's fit to have any time without the guilt. But as good as it is, I don't think I'd want to eat the other cheesecakes now, anyway.

I'm a fan of Fitlife - I actually did their meal delivery service for a good year after college. I…read morelike that they have a grab-and-go option as well, however I have a small bone to pick with the prices...I'll be honest, I don't remember what I paid four years ago for the delivery but I'm 100% confident it was less than the current in-store pricing (I imagine they still discount their meal delivery option as an incentive over buying individually in store). I was in a pinch and couldn't decide on lunch in South Tampa so I decided to pick up a few meals from Fitlife. I got the pulled pork carnitas and the bison burger and the total came out to $29. I was in too deep at that point and decided to just buy them, but I was shoccckeeeddd that I was paying almost $15 each. I get it - you're paying for the convenience of a pre-cooked meal, the simple yet nutritious ingredients, healthy portion, but I was still very surprised and likely will shy away from picking up meals in store again. However, I love that they sell Brick Street Farms greens. Not sure if there's a closer retailer to me that sells them. The greens on shelf were unfortunately past their sell date, but the male staff member (I don't remember his name, SORRY!) was very helpful! I didn't notice the date and went to purchase them, but he checked and even went into the back to see if there was a replacement for me. Should I decide to go back to pre-cooked meal delivery, Fitlife would still be my #1 option.

If you were wondering if the Tampa location had the family meals that you've seen on social media…read moreIm hear to say they do. I stopped in last night to retrieve one of these family meals. It wasn't too busy and I had the best experience with Collin picking out my entree and sides. He had recommendations and helped put the meal together. I got the Sweet chili salmon, green beans and mash potatoes. I had about a 30 minute drive home and we did end up eating this for dinner and I have to say I microwaved the sides and reheated the salmon in a pan just to keep the skin crispy and it turned out really good. A little dry but not terrible for being reheated. I probably wouldn't get the green beans again, but the mashed potatoes and the Salmon were a good option.

Once I figured it out, though, there's a dedicated parking garage with easier access via a ramp. It's free and connects right to the store with elevators, so that made it way better after the initial hunt. The store itself was spotless, super clean and well-organized. The staff was really friendly and helpful, which always makes shopping nicer. They have pretty much everything you'd want in a high-end specialty grocery: tons of organic produce, unique items, supplements, cheeses, international foods, and those tempting deli/prepared food options that looked (and smelled) amazing, great for grabbing ready-to-eat meals or something yummy to go. Prices felt normal for this level of store, some items even a little cheaper than Publix depending on what you're buying, especially organics or specialty stuff. Overall, it's a solid spot for unique finds and quality groceries.
