Shawn helped me at checkout. Very engaging being supportive about my sardines and the 3 day sardine fast... he's doing it too. At $1.75 in water and no salt can't get much cleaner than that. This location also has a nutritionist who does weekly seminars and free one on one nutrition guidance! I spent a lot of time in their rows of supplements looking for and found what I wanted. There is ample parking in the parking lot, when you enter someone's always there to say hello and it's my recommendation that you accept their offer to help you find what you're looking for... at least the first few times until you get your footing. They have snacks too. There are some other good supplement resources housed inside grocery stores but this is all Shirlyn's specializes in, your good health.

The staff insisted on the full original card being returned, acting as if I was trying to scam the system by keeping it. The interaction felt accusatory and overly suspicious from the start. Instead of working with me as a repeat customer who was still spending money in the store, they made me feel like I was committing fraud. No flexibility, no common sense applied--just rigid policy enforcement that treated me like I was dishonest. I understand stores need to protect themselves from abuse, but this approach completely lacks basic customer service principles. A simple solution like issuing a new card for my new purchase or verifying eligibility on the spot would have resolved it instantly. Instead, the experience was stressful and left a sour taste. While the product selection and prices might be decent, the way I was handled during this return makes me hesitant to shop here again. You must book an appointment on their website, let them know what you need your medical card for, (for me wrist pain) then, they'll have you meet with a Qualified Medical Practitioner, fill out some paperwork, pay a few fees, and you are now a medical cannabis patient. you can get your card same day, but you might have to drive to another empathetix location like I did.
