Family owned and operated location. There's always someone friendly in the store that's working and always happy to assist and answer any questions. I go here when I need more whey protein. This location is super convenient in North Hills, it's steps away from my gym (Fitness Connection). This location has meal options. I tried a supreme RealGood pizza for the first time. It's definitely not coming after a NY slice anytime soon but it's fights the craving of eating bad. 4g of carbs and 24g of protein! read more

I've visited quite a few GNC locations in my life... and while on that path, I have met quite a few meatheads. This GNC is different*. They have a smoothie bar in it with TONS of options- including almond and soy milks- and everyone is super friendly and knowledgable. I spoke with Laura, who I believe is the manager and/or owner, and she was AWESOME. I wanted to know about pre-workout supplements and her take on them, and she was able to answer all of my questions. She even MADE me a pre-workout shake to go, and then gave me a sample packet to try the next day. I will definitely be going back to this location for all my GNC needs! (*Note- I have only been here once so I'm pretty sure there are probably still a few meatheads employed at this location.) read more

Definitely not the most professional setting but it adds character. One employee seemed grumpy but helped me get what I need and I was in and out. Another trip, a different associate was funny and had a good conversation. They get to the point and i appreciate that. read more

I needed to replace some supplements and was glad to find this gnc near me. I was greeted when I walked in but there weren't any pushy salesmen trying to get me to buy something I didn't need. I was in and out in 10mn. That's was good enough for me. read more

This review is for the BRIER CREEK location. Needed to return items I purchased online. I've never been in to this retail location. Always been a GNC fan though because they stand behind their products. I approached the register and I was the only one in the store. The woman was rude from the beginning. Before I had the items on the counter she rudely asked for the receipt. On my phone...I presented it and she was unable to find a "transaction number." She commented that without it she would only give me half the amount because it was as though I did not have a receipt. Absurd. I offered to go directly to the GNC website to furnish my account information since the receipt & confirmation in my email was not what she desired. She did not want that. Eventually she agreed to refund the entire amount even though it was "like I didn't have a receipt" which is a joke. If I could post a snapshot of my email receipt here, including order number and all charges I would be glad to. While I stood there I kept thinking "thank goodness I placed the initial order online or I never would have even tried the items in the first place." She was so rude. Once again , I can proudly say that after not only visiting other GNC stores throughout the triangle, I still find Lori and the staff at this GNC store near North Hills Mall the most friendly and pleasant store. To make it legit, I not only went to a GNC store in North Raleigh where I had to wait a long time just to ask a question with only three people(me and two others) in the store. The clerk acted as if he was doing me favor by allowing me in the store. The one at Triangle mall, was very unprofessional. One of the clerk said that he was not on the clock so he could not help me. However at the GNC store in North Hills, where my wife and I like to drive from Southeast Raleigh because of the cleanness of the store and wonderful staff who is always glad to see us. Lori has a personality that makes you want to buy something whether you need it or not. The time in which they wait on customers is a record setting time. I will like to encourage everyone in the North Hills area to check out this store. read more
