Today, Saturday 02/22/2020 finally visited I Am Wonderful…read more I was patronizing Island Spice a couple of weeks ago and a customer in there recommended I come to this vitamin/ herb shop because I was sick and she had bought an elderberry product from here that she said worked for her. Well I did not immediately visit as I should. I continued to rely on prescriptions and over the counter medicines. Not to mention that I kept missing opportunity to visit due to the hours of the store. So here I am about 2 weeks later and at 5:42 p.m. a light bulb clicked and said go to this herbal Shop. Sooo, being that I almost missed it again I sped to the store and made it at 5:56 p.m. YES, I just did make it! Amy was very helpful. I told her why i visited and then i asked if she had anything for heart condition. I told her what was happening, because most people don't know the medical term. But to my surepise she did without me telling her. She made a couple recommendations. While i went in for 1 item, i walked out with several. Now some of the pricing was reasonable and competitive. But there were a few products i thought the mark-up was a bit high. But i do understand the nature of the business. Therefore I will have this store for certain items and my other specialty store for others.

An extensive supply of herbal supplements, teas, books, candles and gems. What is most outstanding is Duane who runs the cannabis department. I have never known anyone who knows more about this than he does and he has educated me and provided me with products that have been very therapeutic with some serious medical medical issues. I have seen people lined up to see him, some social workers and therapists. The other day he was out to lunch when I arrived. I asked if I could just sit and wait for him to return while I just observed, listened and learned. They said I was welcome and offered to seat me at his stool. They asked if I was thirsty and brought me some water. Apparently Duane got his lunch takeout and was eating it in the back. They told him that someone was waiting for him and he came out to see me even before he finished his lunch. It was like seeing a longtime friend and we had the best conversation. Finally I told him to go back and finish his lunch.

They have plenty of herbs, vitamins, and supplements (including sea moss in nearly all forms) as well as some cool metaphysical items like crystals, tarot and oracle cards, and candles galore. The parking lot is small but I've always been able to find a spot (including Saturday and Sunday afternoons). I would 10000% recommend this store to anyone looking for natural remedies.
