Order a wrap/sandwich/salad and explore the different plant based vitamins and medicines. I've tried to visit in the past but they had odd hours which they have since changed to our delight! Such a fun place to look around and explore. Definitely a place to bring your healthy friend when they're in town!

The lady in the front said she had to leave to do some personal errand. I thought to myself how odd and figured I'd come back another day. Wish I didn't. I eventually went back, ended up spending $35 on 2 sandwiches and a smoothie that was watered down. It tasted like watered-down milk. Honestly, for $9 you could go to Tropical Smoothie, get all the health benefits, and it tastes a million times better! The sandwiches were dry and tasteless. They completely re-did their menu from what it used to be, which was awesome by the way. I don't know how this place stays in business . I called to complain and get my money back, which I did, with no help from the new owner, Chad. I called 3 TIMES before I finally got him on the phone. It was obvious he was dodging my phone call! Not good business practice Chad! Frank, the old owner was much nicer, and much more accommodating. Chad was rude, condescending, and didn't even let me speak. Not a good way to run a business. Did I mention that the lady served me a side of fruit with pickles?? Pickles... MIXED IN WITH THE FRUIT. WHO DOES THIS?? Wouldn't go back if the food was free. The only good thing I could say is that the woman in the front, Kate, was very kind and helpful.

There's also a nice full range of tropical fresh fruits and veggies. I rarely see apricots in any grocery store but there were plenty here. I want to try and make homemade duck sauce with them. There are frozen foods, dairy products, vitamins, hair, skin and overall health forward items. The baked goods looked really yummy and had a lot of different types of pastries. Many were even marked down. They have my favorite past time snack....nuts in a shell (almonds, walnuts and pecans). Very nicely priced and lots in stock. I really enjoyed visiting here for the first time. There is only one Sprouts store in Louisiana (Baton Rouge) but it would be nice for them to come to NOLA or Metairie. Bags are $.10 each so bring your own or pay for them. They are pretty sturdy plastic bags though.

You can stand at the entrance door and see all the isles. I couldn't believe all the fresh vegetables and fruits different types of nuts and candies. I went there to get some " Citric Acid". I couldn't find it. One of the managers came out and walked through the store, to help search for the Citric Acid. But to no avail. The manager then went online and searched for the Citric Acid in other stores. She directed me to Target and Wal-Mart to get the product. I wished I had remembered her name. She was some pleasant and did her job with a smile.
