I found this out because I was looking for this place to buy a proper Korean grill to do justice to the beautiful meats I got at Tailor Meat Shop. I finally found my old review and looked at the map. It left me scratching my head, as I did not remember it being where Yelp and Google said it's located. I thought maybe they moved but nope. I didn't realize Yelp had the wrong address the first time, as i happened to just stumble on it after going to Nakata Market. I let the owner know and he said he's been trying to get Yelp to correct it for years. Crying shame, as I wonder how many people tried to shop here and gave up after going to the wrong address. They called and the guy apologized and said he would put it up front so that I could pick it up in the morning. Jump to today. The guy at the front named "T", first of all he was wearing sun glasses inside, he rummages through the drawer for a second and says he can't find it so he leaves makes a joke about me thinking I can't hear it. Then comes back yelling at me talking about he's going to be manager soon. The managers are all looking for my id. Meanwhile the only employee I actually recognize calmly looks in the same drawer, sees my id and gives it to me. Idk his name. He had long hair. But he was truly the only one who was taking my situation seriously. T should not be a manager and the security guard who tried to escalate the situation more needs to be checked too. Every employee I encountered was friendly and engaged, which was a noticeable improvement from my previous visit. I particularly want to recognize two employees who made my visit a positive experience: Davey at the meat counter and Lindsey at the deli counter. Davey was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful while I was selecting chicken wings. Thanks to his recommendations, I purchased two pounds of wings instead of one, and he even included two sample wings to try, for free! I've never had that happen before! He also recommended the jalapeno cheeseburger patties, which I am looking forward to grilling tonight! Kim in the deli was also exceptionally patient. Having worked in restaurants myself, I could tell she was busy, but she never rushed me or made me feel like an inconvenience. Although I didn't purchase anything at the deli counter, her kindness was truly appreciated. Additionally, the cashier who checked me out was incredibly friendly, though I unfortunately did not catch his name. Overall, this outstanding service made for a standout experience.
