We went to customer service and spoke with the man in charge, but unfortunately, he told us it was the last one in stock. Since we are not familiar with the area and weren't sure where else to go, we decided to take the broken package and use it anyway--it's a dry spice, so we figured it would be fine. To our surprise, the same gentleman came to the cashier and told her not to charge us--it was free. Even though the cost of the spice wasn't significant, his thoughtfulness and kindness truly impressed us. This kind of gesture doesn't happen often in international markets.
