I like to "Goad North Carolina" for having such antiquated and offensive laws in terms of abortion and LBGTQ rights. I generally don't stop at GNC because they're expensive and I don't do supplements at all - but I needed Vegan protein so I came in here to see if I could find the kinds I like in a container so that I wouldn't have to hit up the internet, or stupid grocery stores. I stopped by tonight because my Gmail coupon of $5 was expiring as of tomorrow. I had to walk up to the registers to ask the only person for assistance. I needed him to provide me recommendations to see if there are any other brands that can be compared with the Total Lean L-Carnitine Triple Strength Fruit Punch. He was totally clueless and doesn't know anything about the products that the store sells. He went to the backroom to ask his fellow colleague and she came out from there which looks like everyone was just chilling back there. She pointed to another brand that was locked up in a plastic shelf case. All I was asking was a comparison...how hard can that be...such a simple question for someone who has actually been trained to sell these products and not like these two who couldn't. The guy asked the girl again in Mandarin and she responded in Mandarin that they are there to sell the products but not give suggestive information about products. Note: Don't ever assumed just because I spoke to you in English doesn't mean I can't understand Mandarin #unbelievable I walked back to the front where Total Lean was displayed and I found a Total Lean Shake 25 in Orange Cream and asked about other flavors. The guy showed me a separate displayed of Mixed Berry flavors. I saw a guy in a black hoodie that was organizing price stickers for the products. I asked if he was the manager then I told him about the horrible customer service that was provided by his staff as the sales associate were staring at me. I just needed someone that knows what they are talking about. At least he was able to recommended me different L-Carnitine products but they weren't right for me. I showed him a picture of my favorite GNC L-Carnitine 60 count orange chews which I took about a year ago and GNC discontinued last summer. He remembered the product and wasn't sure why the company doesn't make them anymore. I thanked him for assisting me. One of the sales associate rang me up and I gave him my number to pull up my rewards info. He told me that I had only 130 something points which I have no rewards to redeem...ummm I can access my reward points on the GNC app. I just showed him my Gmail $5 off coupon to redeem on tonight's purchase. This is my last time shopping in this location...I am going to stick with the Bell Blvd store...better customer service then these so called Sales Associate just collecting a paycheck vs really providing customer service! Their emails basically no one takes care of it, you can't reset password or unsubscribe it, which means if you want to accumulate you point when you buy their products online once a year, you couldn't accumulate your points. Make sure you know this: if you purchase online, there is No way you can return it, unlike what they told you on their policy. Swear not to buy from them anymore, the product i bought is for my relatives, and when I tried it, it is not as good as I got from somewhere else, nothing is special. No more to waste my time over my money and time with them. Also, don't know how long their store products been on the shelves. Worst GNC I've been to, giving it 2 stars cause I actually found something there & the employees knew what everything was but the service was the worst I have ever seen. They're rude, talks to you with attitude, and looks at you like you're dumb when you ask something. Had the worst service here. Won't be coming back ever again. And I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone ever. They need to get better at their service. read more

I'm a regular customer for GNC. Normally I spent 100+ monthly for GNC products such as protein, ripped vitamins and fish oil stuff. BUT, When I go to store it makes me feel so stressful every single time! Their sales are TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE! They will push you to buy more stuff every second. Even more, I was cheated one time by a sales who works in skyview mall GNC store(3 blocks away from this one). She told me that if I did a donation I can get like 20% off discount for next time purchase. I told her I did donation somewhere else so just go through my bill. And she said okay, I will still give you the discount. EXM, am I look like silly? The reason I give 2 stars is because the quality of GNC, otherwise this business is a joke. My boyfriend and I came into this GNC store to check if they have Nutrabio. We did not find the specific Nutrabio formula we were looking for but the lady who was working there enticed us by saying that its 50% all throughout the store. Of course, we were planning to buy 2 different flavors anyway and we can settle for the regular formula given that we will save 50% plus shipping. She talked us into buying more products which she seemed very knowledgeable about (1 star). 20 mins into her promoting different BCAAs, Creatines and supplements - we were getting annoyed by how much she was pushing and we told her that we are just getting the 2 protein shakes and possibly this collagen supplement. After we stopped her multiple times from further marketing the whole store, she gave us the total and said - "Oh, these products you picked are not part of the 50% off promotion". Unfuckingbelievable. She then proceeded on telling us about the 10% off we can get for signing up for some program. My boyfriend literally had to beg her to just stop talking and let us check out. I kept my mouth shut which was probably for the best bec I'm a ticking time bomb. We ended up buying the protein shakes anyway since we already wasted too much time & we needed those. Lesson learned. This is the worst GNC I've ever been to. Employees take ages ringing people up because the try to sell you 10 different things. Manager is rude to anyone buying less than$100 worth of products. There is always a line, but its more a huddled mass of customers waiting to jump at the next cashier. They don't put out the vitamin samples that most GNC locations do. I usually and trying to stop in quickly for a protein bar on my way to/from the bus/train and have waited 20 minutes to pay for one protein bar because 3 salespeople were helping one group of customers buying a ton of vitamins and none could be bothered to ring me up. They hooked me up! After a big, complicated series of unfortunate events, I somehow washed up in the middle of Queens, in a random hotel - and hungry. But, having special dietary requirements, I couldn't eat just anything; thankfully, there was the heartwarming red glow of a GNC sign, just across the street. Inside, I was able to put together a fine, healthy little meal (from stuff on clearance, no less). Also: some friendly folks working there, with whom I shared a laugh or two. All told, I left feeling a special sort of satisfaction, the kind you just can't buy. Much thanks to everyone at this store, for providing for me in my weird little adventure. I have the worst experience with this establishment and their products!!! After buying 6 tubs of wheybolic extreme for my use, upon using it after a 2 months the product suddenly turned spicy(it was chocolate fudge flavor) and caused me to have diarrhea and stomach cramps. When I tried to return it they would not take it back since they said they only have 1-month return policy. They kept putting it off and kept me pointing to talk their manager who would only come to their office at a certain time of the week. To make the story short after all the trouble they agreed to refund me $21 of the original $60 per tub. Considering that it was a bad product they would not even consider to give me a full refund.
