Food ----- Chicken Alfredo w/ breaded chicken - good, just needed more pepper and sauce Chicken Alfredo w/grilled chicken - good just needed more sauce , salt and pepper Shrimp carbonara - not much seasoning but a larger portion. Steak - not bad Appetizer ---------- Mozzarella sticks- delicious Spinach dip - definitely wouldn't recommend We didn't try the drinks or dessert.

This is the 2nd time I had food subpar when I leave nontip and pick it up versus when I do. Also the young girl who brought it out kept staring at me with a look of irritation on her face. The lasagna looked as though it was thrown in the container and I was given the weird unwanted corner piece that I know they wouldn't serve anyone in the restaurant who sat down. I also was given my desert which was extremely rock hard frozen solid!!! Why would you service this to anyone? I plan on calling corporate to get my money back and I wont be back to this location. My money didnt pay for a meal thrown together like they couldn't be bothered. Update: The manager James called me today to personally apologize and offer a refund. I really appreciated that. Im glad he was willing to make things right.

Located in Trussville's small shopping/dining district, you'll find one heck of a deli. Henrietta's…read moremenu encompasses hot and cold sandwiches, homemade chips, a variety of sides, breakfast served all day, and a small selection of salads. Everything is made to order, so you're guaranteed a fresh meal. What we ordered: -Chopped Cheese (substituted mayo for garlic pepper mayo): Hot sandwich with NY strip beef, sautéed onions, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, vinaigrette, and mayo on a fresh baguette. I devoured this sandwich. It was incredible. -Adult Grilled Cheese: A hot sandwich featuring spicy bacon jam, smoked cheddar, goat cheese, Swiss, and a fried egg, all on sourdough bread. My boyfriend ordered this, and he loved it! I'm not a fan of Swiss or goat cheese, but I actually really enjoyed the bite that I had of this sandwich. While I wish this deli were closer to where I live, I will still make the trek out here to grab another sandwich. The workers here were all so friendly and caring for their customers. I look forward to coming back to try more off the menu.

On our most recent visit decided to try a new option the Southern Style Deep Dish (Deep dish pizza…read morebaked and served in a cast iron skillet, a Southern take on Chicago style, with a crisp edge and hearty layers of pepperoni, Italian sausage, smoked bacon, and mozzarella, topped with our house marinara) and fortunately my son convinced me to get a large (16") basic Pepperoni Pizza (hand tossed dough, house marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni) as well. I say fortunately because when he got home with the pizzas after picking them up for take out, I was shocked at how small the Southern Style Deep Dish ended up being. Essentially it was the size of the old personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut. While unsure what a "southern take" on a Chicago style might mean, I did not expect the soupy mess of toppings in a bread bowl, which is what we received. There was nothing wrong with the taste and there were ample protein toppings, just not enough cheese to bind it all together. Since my wife was not home for dinner, we decided to save her a "slice" to try later. It sitting overnight and being reheated greatly improved the consistency. What usually makes Chicago Style successful is more cheese than you usually have on a hand tossed or tavern style and in some cases a top layer of dough to really make it into a "pie". The taste of the toppings has never been an issue for me (with the exception of the "Lazy River - crawfish ettoufee, beer braised sweet peppers, charred red onion and mozzarella). Overall my take is unless you are going to order some of their more unique options such as my favorite "Gator Bait" (marinara, mozzarella, alligator sausage, roasted chicken, jalapeño peppers, and drizzled with creole creme) there are plenty of other better places for your pizza cravings. My son is also a fan of their Margherita pizza. For me it will likely be a good long while before suggesting a visit or pick up again.
