I've had to do this with two people already and I don't take it lightly. (you know who you are) In other words, if you make it difficult for me to find work and make a living like a normal human being, this affects my ability to pay you back!" The only positive was that Matt provided us with the contact info for another DJ who was thankfully able to work my wedding on such short notice but paying for 2 DJs was definitely not in our budget.

Beware - Fraudulent Behavior by Paradise Events and Liting Chan…read more I paid a deposit of nearly $23,000 to Paradise Events and Liting Chan for floral décor four years ago. The wedding was canceled due to Covid (the planning service fee of $6000 was paid separately), and no flower décor were ever provided. Despite multiple attempts to contact her via calls and emails, she has refused to respond or refund my money. I have since left Canada and the deposit was lost forever. Her actions are dishonest and unprofessional--avoid doing business with them if you don't want to risk losing your money.

Gramophone Co were the DJs for our wedding - and let me tell you, they are awesome! They were on…read moretime, set up exactly as we discussed and had the everyone dancing all night. Even my parents - who I have never, ever, seen dance, were dancing by the end of the night. They go the extra mile, even donning props (wigs, cowboy hats etc). They kept the wedding moving in the order that I asked, and were great MCs for the night. They even worked with the park managers to get the lights turned down for the dancing (which, I didn't even ask them to do). I just can't say enough about these guys! If you are looking for a DJ, please give these guys a shot. I think you'll be surprised by the quality of DJ you get for the price! Plus, they are just super nice guys!
