Stan played all the songs we wanted and asked if we wanted extra songs included other than our special moment songs which I thought was a nice touch for those moments we couldn't necessarily decide. Nate DJ'd my wedding this past weekend and he did a FANTASTIC job. He was super easy to work with…read moreand did a great job setting up his speakers and microphone multiple locations. Weather and some venue issues meant that we had to give Nate some last minute changes, and he just rolled with the punches. Nate was by far our least problematic vendor and actively helped us out when our other vendors messed up. Our food got delayed, which pushed dinner back. My wife and I didn't have any ideas on how to fill the time because everyone was already seated for dinner when we got the news. Nate came up to us and suggested we play "the Shoe Game" which he already had prepared. It was a massive hit and I had multiple people come up to me afterwords and tell us that they are going to do it at their wedding! Nate also crushed it with the music on the dance floor. I gave him a playlist to work off, and he made it way better. The transitions were smooth and he played exactly the music we were looking for. He did a great job with requests too. At the end of the night, I remembered a song I wanted to listen to, but we only had time for the final song. Nate managed to play basically the entire last song and still stuck in the song that I had requested at the very end. It was such an awesome way to end the night! TLDR; Book Nate!! I did decide to switch to someone local but still have not gotten any communication about the refund. I have emailed several times and have been understanding and considerate. Writing a review here in hopes that i'll get some sort of contact info from someone or resolve. Didn't have it in the budget to pay 2 DJ's.

Super quick…read morecommunication. 1 month before the event I get an email saying that he is filing for bankruptcy and we will hear from his bankruptcy attorney about refunds. It has been over 2 months of silence now. Still no refund and no response from Matt. Matt even had the audacity to send a threatening email saying this: "If I find anyone posting false or misleading statements about this situation and/or my character, I will file a cease and desist letter and file in court. I've had to do this with two people already and I don't take it lightly. (you know who you are) In other words, if you make it difficult for me to find work and make a living like a normal human being, this affects my ability to pay you back!" The only positive was that Matt provided us with the contact info for another DJ who was thankfully able to work my wedding on such short notice but paying for 2 DJs was definitely not in our budget.
