UPDATE: I wanted to update everyone with my score. Bob helped me take my score from a 610 to a 730. This man will push you, but it is amazing how much my problem solving capabilities have come back. When I started with him, I used to stare blankly at problems in a blind panic. I'm not kidding - I felt WAY out of my league. Now, I can look at a problem, understand the data to pull down and think about, and ultimately solve the problem. It's tough to say that someone else 'made me smarter', but Bob certainly equipped me with the right tools to become better and work smarter. Last point, this guy thinks of all of his students like his own children, so just know he cares for you personally and may or may not provide you with personal advice, albeit unsolicited, from time to time :) Bob is an excellent teacher and mentor. It has been several years since I have had to use the math and problem-solving skills required in the Quantitative Section of the GMAT but Bob's techniques are getting me excited to work with math again! Like many, I began studying for the GMAT by purchasing a course from one of the large GMAT test prep providers. I set a goal to score in the 700s and after studying for a couple months, I was not making the improvements that I was expecting. I researched local tutors that could provide the one on one classes that I felt were necessary to meet my goal. I found Bob online and after meeting with him, I decided to begin taking his course. Bob was an incredible resource and there is no doubt that I would not have achieved my goal without him. Bob is a patient, motivating and kind tutor. I highly recommend Bob's tutoring services to anyone taking the GMAT. Before going to Bob, I wasted months studying a Princeton Review course and did not do well, bombing the quant section. I knew that I needed to change my approach and was referred to Bob by a friend in business school who spoke very highly of his services. After the first few months of working with Bob, my score improved over 100 points and is now on par with average scores at top business schools. I took this class and Bob is the best! He explained to me my weaknesses and strengths on Day 1. His creative style of teaching made it very easy to follow the program. I could not be happier with my experience working with Bob. He only works with one student at a time to better understand your specific needs. He is patient and understands that people learn these complex math questions at different speeds.
