For dinner, the restaurant doesn't open until 6. They have a bar. The food was good. I had the spring special of asparagus cream soup and lamb ragu over pasta. The downside is the restaurant doesn't take credit cards so bring cash.

I stayed here with a colleague recently and neither of us could believe the value for money. A huge room with en suite TV etc ,spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a health suite with hot tubs and sauna. and a great bar. all this for 64 Euros a night per room including a generous breakfast buffet. The restaurant in the Gasthof was equally as good , great menu based on Baverian specialities, good portions and well cooked local produce. As we here at the right time we drank the special Oktoberfest brew which slipped down too well. Again very well priced and with great service. worth a special visit for a few days in the mountains or just as an overnight stop

The artichoke and bread appetizer was not what I expected but was quite tasty and very large when I was only expecting artichoke bruschetta. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. The waiter told me they have the best tiramisu and it did not disappoint.
