I stayed here with a colleague recently and neither of us could believe the value for money. A huge room with en suite TV etc ,spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel has a health suite with hot tubs and sauna. and a great bar. all this for 64 Euros a night per room including a generous breakfast buffet. The restaurant in the Gasthof was equally as good , great menu based on Baverian specialities, good portions and well cooked local produce. As we here at the right time we drank the special Oktoberfest brew which slipped down too well. Again very well priced and with great service. worth a special visit for a few days in the mountains or just as an overnight stop

What else could you ask for??? Hahaha (I spoke in german to them as much as I could and they actually understood me). I've only been living her for about 6 months so yes; I'm proud of my german language skillz. As long as you try a little german the locals will love you for it even if they don't necessarily show it sometimes, if you know what I mean. ;). Anyways, as I was saying the food is just great as well as the ambiance of the place. My 5 year old son had the Käsespatzen (small noodles with cheese and roasted onions... Yummy) he just loves that stuff. My wife and I had the Ziegenkäse salad (goat cheese with salad on the side). Don't be fooled. This is more than just you typical cheese and salad type of a meal. It is specifically prepared Bavarian style where the cheese is baked in a wooden oven giving it a warm and soft taste making your taste buds go wild.
