Yesterday i went here with a group of 8 people. We were in the mood for thai, i had set my expectations low and oddly enough was still let down Papaya salad: worst papaya salad i ever had, tasted like pure fish sauce to the point it was inedible, WAY WAY WAY too much. You literally could not taste anything else. In addition it had no spiciness whatsoever. Absolutely disgusting. Crying tiger: the steak was cooked good in terms of medium rare.Insanely salty without the sauce, weird sauce with overly sweetness. Gross. Waste of money. Service: If you order alcohol, they WILL card you. They even carded 2 60-70 year old men in our group. Definitely found it amusing. In the beginning, I told the waiter to put everyone on their own bill. He said ok. In terms of the dishes, the cream cheese wontons and wings were good. The top dishes were the crying tiger steak and the garlic and black pepper beef. It's been awhile since I visited Glyn. The first time was right after they took over the space and the food was delicious the service was excellent and we gave them slack for the emptiness and not quite moved in vibe. Three plus years later and it feels like we're dining in somebody's makeshift warehouse space with servers that don't belong working in a restaurant. Let's just say it's understandable why this place does gangbuster takeout service and there were only two tables sat on a Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. We were placed next to an unfinished bar left over from when it housed a great pub called Molly Greens. It just sits there like some sort of dilapidated movie set. We all wondered what they were going to do with it as if someone had some grand plan to recreate the nightclub but ran out of steam. The five of us waited patiently for the requested water, which only came after we asked twice and had ordered our food and drinks. After that they sat empty until the end of the meal when they asked if we wanted more water. Upon ordering, I asked for soup and I specifically said we wanted it before the rest of the food. Guess what? The soup showed up right with everything else even though we spaced out the order. The food itself was still fresh and flavorful. But they left all the dirty dishes sitting on our table as we finished our drinks. Then when the waiter finally went to remove one of the plates after we had paid, he dropped a dirty spoon in my daughter's lap. At the end, we got hit with a $200 bill! For three entrees, a noodle dish and soup! We were lucky to get three small cups out of the large soup. $18 It was only after I asked to see the receipt that the server admitted to an autograt and explained the four beers were $10 each and the two glasses of wine were also $10 each ($60 for alcohol). He tacked on a 20% autograt for a large party! We were a party of five. Since when is that a large party? And since when does crappy service entitle you to 20%? I would have demanded they take it off and let us tip on our own but my boyfriend gave me the evil eye to stay quiet. They also added a 3% "convenience charge" for using a credit card before they even asked how we were paying. Shame on you Glyn. No more dining in. read more

We ordered Glyn Thai while vacationing in Park City. We love Thai food and noticed it on DoorDash, so we pulled the trigger and ordered a few Thai staples. Here's how we liked everything: The Crab Rangoon: meh. Not enough crab inside, and the cream cheese inside was the sour kind, not the sweet kind. Thai Fried Rice: pretty good! Nice and salty, and the rice was brown and charred just how I like it. Pad Thai: also pretty good. Nice flavor, but needed more sauce, as it was a bit dry. We would get Glyn again because the food came quickly and was piping hot. However, the Pad Thai could have been saucier for sure! We've definitely had worse. read more

Saw this new Thai place come up when I googled place to eat nearby. We got Tom kha, chili basil, drunken noodles and panang curry. Everything was delicious! Prices are $20-25 per dish but it's a decent portion size and the amount of food was just goth for 4 of us. I like that they include rice with a few of the dishes and you don't have to pay extra for it. Loved the brown rice too! Service was quick and attentive. Had I known that the Khao Soi serving would be so large and would have so much chicken, I wouldn't have ordered the Duck Spring Rolls. When the Khao Soi arrived, it didn't have any onions or picked vegetables like I've gotten elsewhere. I told the attendant that I didn't want any cucumber or bell pepper in my food. For whatever reason, the spring rolls arrived well after I was given the Khao Soi. There was only one small piece of duck in each roll but way too much cucumber. There have been a few Thai restaurants in this space over the years, and this is by far the best of them! We ordered the curry dumplings to start - really good. Beef Penang curry was excellent as was the Khao Soi. One knock on both entrees is than the dishes came with big chunks of meat - huge pieces of short rib in the Penang and chicken drumsticks in the Khao Soi. Not a big deal, but you do have to pick out the meat and cut/shred it with spoons (and hands). Mango stixky rice for desert - traditional and delicious. The atmosphere is pretty grim as it always is in that space - tall ceilings, overly bright lighting and odd spacing of the tables. But for the two negative issues, this place would def be 5 stars - the food is that good! read more

We were able to walk right in and be seated. The golden leaf chandeliers caught my eye. Our server was attentive and efficient. Make sure to order F2 as an appetizer. This will be an easy review, the food is the best Thai food I've ever had, if you've never had Thai food this is the place to go! PS: when you enter they have suckers! The walls are decorated with pictures and they have high quality chairs too!!!!!! I love comfortable chairs!! After reading all of the reviews my hopes were pretty high for this place. It was ok but not the experience I was hoping for overall. The fresh spring rolls were good. They were full of veggies and the dipping sauces were alright. I am used to something else but they were ok. The soup was fantastic. In fact if was all I had ordered then it would be a four star review. It was a nice sized portion for a small bowl. I'm curious to how big the large is. I had the Tom Yum with tofu. The larb was as a huge disappointment. When presented I asked for the lettuce that it stated it came with. She said eat it with sticky rice (something I don't really care for) instead. No thank you. It also tasted weirdly like taco meat. It was definitely missing some key ingredients. The last comment I will give is that they have 3 levels of spice. Vegan review Unbelievable, my new favorite Tai Eatery! We had a vegan avocado Roll and a veggie roll both super fresh in rice paper. Served with a warm peanut sauce that was incredibly delicious. The hubs ordered the green curry with tofu and veggies and I had the steamed brown rice (red, black and brown mixed) and steamed veggies. I also added some of the hubby's curry sauce to my steamed veggie and rice bowl. I seriously cannot tell you how incredibly delicious the flavors in that curry sauce was. After a 2 month trek around the country and over 9,000 miles we are happy to recommend this fantastic authentic Tai restaurant. 12 stars and I mean it. Today was the second bad experience I've had and it's only been my second time coming! Both times I called to place an order for just sticky rice and soy sauce because it's one of my comfort foods! The guy both times was super rude because I just ordered sticky rice and after i placed my order he was like you can come pick it up right now and I said OK I will be there soon and then proceeded to hang up on me. Didn't even say see you soon or thank you he just hung up. Then when I was at the place once again just super rude ! I will not be coming back here. Food was barely edible and left 3/4's of it on the plate (I was hungry so I had some). Pad Thai was in a clumped up ball that was untangle-able and needed a knife to cut into. It was bland and tasted like undressed noodle. Was supposed to have chicken in it but couldn't find it. Drunken noodles were about half inch in length and the sauce was a sugary sweet concoction with a hint of flavor other than sugary sweetness and tough bits of beef. First time at a Thai restaurant I was not interested in taking leftovers home. Do yourself a favor and skip it. This place used to be my go-to for Thai. It was authentic, consistent and oh so good. Don't know if it was sold or what's happened. But tonight, whole different story. The soup and all three entrees were inexplicable. Not traditional. And just, well, weird. You used to be able to call and say... cashew stir fry or green curry or even peanut sauce... and know what the flavor would be (regardless of heat choice.) But that's no longer the case. Didn't realize that this business had a new owner as we haven't been back to Park City for 2 years and we like ordering take our once during our trip from this location. This is probably the least authentic Thai food I've ever had. The meal was really mediocre and super disappointing. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and 2 entrees that were supposed to come with 2 boxes of rice and we only received one. We called and they gave us a refund. The best dish out of the everything we ordered ended up being the summer rolls. The fried calamari and the wings were decent if you drown it in sauce. I picked larb as the sauce for wings and received a totally different sauce. I would not recommend ordering the entrees at all. The curry was watered down and I'm not sure how I can describe the beef and broccoli. My husband said he was eating rubber beef and the broccoli wasn't even fully cooked. The noodles were burnt. Definitely a great stop when looking for a place to have a dinner in Park City with very little wait. Highlights are the Massaman Curry and the peanut sauce (kids kabob meal). If I could describe this place in one sentence, it would be "it reminds me of this dish". The Khao Soi reminded me of Indian curry, and the Tom Yum soup reminded me of MAMA Tom Yum flavor instant ramen, rather than actual Tom Yum. I really really want to love this place. I'm a local resident who lives within walking distance from here. I have been here around 6-7 times but after my last order, I won't be back sadly. Nothing here will blow you away but it's likely to be decent. There is another thai place in this same shopping center so If you are going for something specific and they both have it on the menu, I would likely go to the other place but again, their dishes aren't bad (except my last order, more on that later) The service is usually good but not super attentive if that's what you prefer. The restaurant appears very clean on the dining floor and has beautiful decor. Last night I ordered online (they charge a fee for this so I would call it in personally). I order 6pc chicken wing in Korean bbq sauce and 2 chicken spring rolls. This was a shocking 30.00 but I digress. Here's where I won't be back.... I brought the to go bag to my car you could smell a super strong shrimp/seafood smell from a mile away. My entire car in 2 mins was overpowered by it. I was convinced the order was wrong so I opened it up. They, to my shock, were chicken wings but no sauce. I went back in and she tells me they don't offer bbq like their menu states. Made zero mention they could not fulfill the order correctly. So they just left them plain? She says the sauce they use is in the bag. I get home and the "sauce" they use is nothing more than a duck sauce with some mild pieces of pepper in it. Totally not a wing sauce and didn't compliment it whatsoever but I tried it. Here's where it gets more gross... they clearly have not changed their oil in a super long time... these wings tasted VERY strong of seafood. I don't like seafood at all. In fact, you couldn't taste a tinch chicken flavor whatsoever. I really tried because they were meaty and juicy but for me, not edible (I tried a bite on a few of them). Eating a chicken wing that tastes like seafood is really disgusting. After I threw them away, I see what I think was the bbq sauce she claimed they didn't have. It wasn't enough for dunking 2 wings even and also not great. Not bad but not great and not a Thai sauce you would really pair with a wing or really anything and I LOVE Thai bbq. So it all got thrown away. On to chicken spring rolls... the wrap was not soft or tender. Quite tough actually. Seemed old or stale. Inside was fresh but very heavy with lettuce. I didn't even get any chicken until the second to last bite and it was like leather. What is going on here? I am not a picky eater AT ALL. The peanut sauce, not great either (super thick and lacks flavor) so the second roll got tossed also. Thirty bucks thrown away. Let me also say, I have never ever spit out or thrown a wing out as I believe one would go strait to hell for far less acts of violence lol ..I also have never not liked a spring roll but here we are. Boo. Orange chicken is actually very good and the sauce seems house made but it is also a gallon of sugar (more than I have ever tasted and orange chicken is always a go to for me) so be prepared. There is better orange chicken in this center but it was the best thing I have had there. Massaman curry is good just not the best in the area same with the hot and sour soup. They are VERY accommodating with GF needs though. read more
