Dr. Gluck is brilliant, thorough and compassionate. Most highly recommended. He succeeded where other urologists fell short.

I called to schedule an appointment for my 93 year old Mom who needed a prescription refill. The…read morecall was answered by a wonderful woman by name of Kristin in scheduling, who was absolutely wonderful in her guidance. By the time we got off the phone she had recommended a "scheduling health plan" (my words, not hers) by way of an outline that included a Home nurse for one visit while we were waiting for the April appointment for Moms Primary Doctor! She then passed me to the Prescription Refill Nurse for Moms refill. I would like to add that I have had very difficult health issues myself over the past three years so I have been speaking with many, many, scheduling departments over that time and Kristin was FAR AND AWAY the best, most pleasant, greatest listener, and offered an extremely intelligent recommended plan. She is THE best at her job that I have ever spoken with!

And breached my privacy in doing so making me open the door? they seemed like they cared more about getting me out of there than making sure I was good. Horrible attitude for that one doctor but I can't speak for all of them

Fill out your registration. 2) Once registered, go inside to pay. Do NOT wait to be called, etc. many times there's a long line it's because folks don't know to go in. You will be asked if you want your results brought to your car (park at Taco Bell if lot is fu) or put in the web portal registration you created. If you need a paper confirmation you need to wait for results. 3) Once you have paid ($160), you are given a receipt and sticker and you go around back for for your swab. After they swab you, your results will either be emailed to the portal or they'll bring it to your car. It can be about 3 hours start to finish because there are no clear instructions and everyone is too shy to ask.

It's just they don't care about people there at all ---I should've learned my lesson from the last time. I was there at the height of Covid season during the winter and despite having an appointment (not being a walk-in ) I waited 40 minutes and then got up and asked politely how much longer and I was told they'd be about another half hour probably away :(. so OK I'm all right with the wait because I know there are many sick people and so and I said to the woman my car is parked right here in the parking lot directly across from the front door and I pointed to it. You could see it through the big glass door/ window and I said I don't want to sit in the waiting room. I prefer to wait in my car if they call me, can you just wave through the window and I'll be watching and see you and I'll come right in and the woman, who was literally sitting READING A BOOK while doing her job at the front desk told me she was too busy to wave for me to come in and if I missed my turn, I would go to the end of the list and have to wait again. What????? I had already sat for 40 minutes and I wasn't feeling well and there was some pretty sick people around me. I was OK with waiting. Just wanted to wait in the privacy of my car and I made that clear to her that I had already been waiting well over a half an hour from my appointment and that I was OK with waiting could she just waved to me? I couldn't believe she refused. So then yesterday, pulling up and finding they were closed and never alerted me either by text or phone and they had plenty of time to do so. That is the last time I will go there. There are plenty of other ones that are way better like the one in Weymouth Urgent care MD is really good. Prompt. Good medical care.

After confirming my eligible insurance and the fact that she was indeed open to taking on new…read morepatients, Dr. Niklas stood over her secretary's shoulder and, speaking through her secretary, refused to make an appointment with me because I explained to her that we were hoping to get an appointment in sooner than later before we temporarily moved out-of-state for the summer. It felt weirdly judgemental and exclusive, maybe even discriminatory (?) how she continued to deny us and question our life plans to determine if we are legitimate and will be able to meet with her as PCP on an annual basis. Almost pleading, I explained that both my husband's parents and my parents live in Hingham, that we grew up here and actively live here, and that we will be more than able to meet with her every year for an annual check up as we are explicitly and exclusively Hingham-based...I explained that the only issue is that we are leaving town in a month (for the summer) and are hoping to get an appointment in with her before our departure. She refused us an appointment because she was stuck on the idea that we are relocating for the summer and may never come back?? (I know my Yelp profile says I am based in San Fran...never been there in my life, just tried to fix the setting and don't know why it says that lol). I was compassionate towards her secretary who had to be the middle-man through this whole unkind interaction, parroting Dr. Niklas' withholding and illogical reasoning, but, after growing up in this town and seeing its darker sides (classist, discriminatory), this felt reminiscent and very "Hingham" (in a pejorative sense). And I say this as a bread-and-butter Hinghamite lol. Any way, it was incredibly bad vibes, but even beyond that, just kind of dumb. Like there was no critical thinking on her part or willingness to hear us and update her understanding when I tried to explain our situation (mind you--why am I having to explain so much of my life plans to a Karen with a Doctorate???) Good luck!

Dr. Cuchural is an infectious diseases doctor and also a primary care doctor. I have been a medical puzzle for years and Dr. Cuchural found things that other doctors haven't even heard of let alone tested me for! I am so thankful to have answers. Dr. Cuchural often works very late into the night because unlike other doctors, he spends as much time with a patient as he or she needs. He doesn't rush or cut appointments short and genuinely cares for his patients. If you stump him with a question, he will pull all of his electronic gadgets out and look up the answer for you. He fits patients in last minute even if it means he has to stay even later. He has the most wonderful bedside manner, which is imperative to me because I have severe anxiety. Julie, the nurse, is just as amazing. She is has a dry sense of humor and is absolutely hysterical, which helps when I'm feeling particularly anxious or overwhelemed from medical issues. I have literally walked in there crying many times and come out smiling. It's always a pleasure seeing her. I feel incredibly blessed to have been referred to Dr. Cuchural's office and hope that this review reaches someone else he may be able to help.
