First time and my eyebrows looked good. My brow specialist did not thread too thin and the shape fit my face! read more

Robyn is not only a professional at what she does, but so kind too. She's always welcoming. I've had eyebrow waxing and trimming done here, and always leave a thousand times happier! read more

Glow is a total hidden gem tucked away in a corner of the shops above Cricket's. They do the best facials I've ever had. Not even a contest. I left feeling refreshed and like my face was a thousand times less yucky than it was before. They're a little pokey with extractions, but that's how it should be! I'm glad that they were able to poke around and get things out without bruising my face, heh. They're also good at recommending what you need to maintain that fresh just-had-a-facial look for a while, plus they sell a few things there in the salon. They also waxed my 'brows in a way that's not pencil-thin or unnatural-looking. LOVE. read more

During college, I used to be a consistent customer of Lori's waxing studio. However, I no longer felt comfortable going to a trailer that is probably not inspected for health reasons for my waxing needs. I desired someplace that felt more...established. And clean. Robyn made me feel like I was getting the best possible wax the whole time I was at Glow, and I truly did! She made me feel so comfortable during my Brazilian, and even recommended a waxing salon for me when I move back to Houston. Love this place, and will be going here for the remainder of my time in Waco. read more

After years of getting my eyebrows waxed at a nail salon and having them break out with acne for a week every time, it was definitely time to try something new. I found Glow Skin Care & Waxing Studio as one of the top rated places on Google and Yelp and knew I had to give it a try! I didn't make an appointment and came in about 10 minutes before closing but she took me in anyways and I'm super glad she did!! This is now my GO-TO PLACE for getting my eyebrows waxed! Robyn is so nice, polite, and friendly and the waxing didn't hurt a bit! Her store is super clean, trendy and stylish I absolutely love it! The best part is that the next day and week after getting my eyebrows waxed, my eyebrows NEVER broke out with acne bumps! Her price is the same as an eyebrow wax at the nail salon but with way better customer service and a better experience! Making my next appointment right now :) read more

This review is looong overdue! I travel to Waco often for business and called Robyn several months ago in desperate need of a wax. Yes, desperate. lol. I found Glow Skin Care per the Yelp reviews so I gave Robyn a call and left a voice mail. What thoroughly impress me is Robyn called me back the same day, said that she was fully booked, then recommended a friend at another salon. She didn't have to do that. She could have just ignored my request. Because of her professionalism and customer service, on my next return I booked an appointment with her. She was a joy to talk to and we laughed through the entire session. I was a little apprehensive about the wax strips (I've been using Brazilian blue wax for years) but she did a fantastic job. I was highly pleased. I would recommend Robyn to anyone! She is fun and professional and you can tell she enjoys what she does. I think I secretly hope my business trips are scheduled every four weeks. lol Go See Robyn! read more

Robyn is beyond amazing, I moved away for a short time and experienced horrible waxing that was way overpriced! I have moved back to Waco and fallen in love all over again! No one will be as courteous and kind as Robyn! I always leave smooth and very happy! I never experience pain during my Brazilian and that is hard to do!! Hands down the best wax in Waco!!! read more

I came here because of the rave reviews on Yelp. I saw Robyn on two separate occasions for a leg wax and an underarm wax. I left sticky and full of stubble both times! It was incredibly painful and when I asked about all of the hair that was left behind her excuse was "well, waxing will never get you as smooth as shaving will. It just won't". Not true because I went to a different salon to get a Brazilian and the results were so much better and less painful! It hurt less and was 100% smooth for weeks! Yes, Robyn was friendly and knowledgeable but her technique was terrible. I also had the other salon redo my underarms when it was time and I got much better results than I did at Glow. read more

Glow was a great find! I get the bikini wax and it's only 10 minutes so very efficient. The owner is very professional, friendly, and knows how to make you comfortable. There's just good vibes in there ya know? 10/10 would recommend!!! read more

I recently moved to the area from Los Angeles and was worried about trying to find someone to do a good Brazilian wax here. What I received from Robyn at Glow was not good, it was fantastic! She is personable and professional and puts you at ease right away. The space is charming and clean. Her technique is superb and it might have been the least painful wax I've ever received, as far as waxes go. Make an appointment today... you wont be disappointed. read more

I had a great experience at Glow with Robyn. She made the process very easy and even enjoyable. I liked that there were waxing options for exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price too. I will be back. read more

My first waxing experience was here and I've recommended it to at least 4 friends who loved it as well. Robyn, the owner, makes you feel very comfortable and takes the awkwardness out of a bikini wax. There is also a discount for college students which I love. They use grapeseed oil after the wax so you don't leave sticky and your skin feels smooth. The decor is also great. read more

Robyn does an AMAZING job!! Usually, waxes leave my skin looking irritated for a day or two but Glow's products work so well on my sensitive skin and don't irritate it at all. I have never had a better waxing experience. I'm so glad that I found Glow!! Best wax in Waco!! read more

I had such an awesome first experience at Glow! Getting anything waxed is pretty personal and the last thing I want to feel is nervous and or uncomfortable. Robyn did such a fabulous job and making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She was so personable and made me feel right at home. Her studio was extremely clean and professional. I also love that on her website you can schedule appointments. So convenient!!!! Thanks Robyn for a great wax! See you soon! read more

Robyn is an actual Saint. The place is very welcoming and she explains everything to you before she does it. Their products are made for all skin styles and works great for sensitive skin. Her technique is relatively painless compared to other big chain waxing centers! She takes her time and removes all the hair you want! I'm truly amazed with this place and am so glad I finally found a good waxing place in Waco! Very clean, uses soft wax and strips Never reused sticks or strips Absolutely perfect place for a wax and worth the price you pay read more

Not cheap, but so worth it! After having my eyebrows waxed too thin by my nail lady week after week I finally had enough and searched "eyebrows" near Waco, TX. I made an appointment with Robyn and was so glad I did! She has waxing eyebrows down to a science. Though I knew my eyebrows were too thin, she took measurement and was able to explain what areas needed to grow out and where they should be. She also showed me areas I could enhance with a pencil until they grew back in. After one wax, I can already tell my eyebrows are on the road to recovery and are on their way to the look I am going for. Can't thank you enough Robyn! read more

Finally caved and went to have my eyebrows professionally waxed at Glow. I'll never pick up my tweezers again!! The owner not only did a fantastic and pain-free job, she also gave me a tutorial on how to fill in my rather scraggly eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. Wish I could go weekly - it was THAT relaxing! read more
