The owner there used to rush my eyebrows, to the point where I had to go home and tweeze them on my own to clean them up. What a waste of money. I went looking for a new eyebrow threading place and came across BGZ Hair Couture, which happened to be closer to my house. When I first entered this salon a few months ago, I was in awe with its cleanliness and modern decor. I love the fact that it is a walk-in location for eyebrows (no appointment needed). The ladies there are very kind and work hard to make my eyebrows look great. I am always SO pleased with how my eyebrows look coming out of BGZ Couture. The ladies there take their time, and I do not feel rushed. My sister and I go there every 1-2 weeks to get our eyebrows done, and I can't imagine going anywhere else! :)

Anyone who has written a less than spectacular review about her is off their rocker. I've been getting waxed at EWC for 7 years and have had multiple waxers over the years. Niki by far has been the most friendly, genuine and caring waxer that I've had. She is one of their top waxers and does an absolute fabulous job. She's quick, thorough and I don't feel any discomfort when I get waxed by her. I get a Brazilian, which trust me, can vary in pain levels depending on who waxes you, but Niki makes it a breeze. Our conversations are great and she is always so professional and understanding. I have had to last minute cancel or change appointments which I know is such a bummer (I am a hair stylist, so I know the feels), but she has never given me a hard time about it and I appreciate that. I recently moved to Queens, almost 40 minutes away, and I still make the trip to see Niki. With all this said, make sure to book your next service with Niki!! And side note - the front desk ladies are all great, so not sure why people in their reviews are speaking negatively about them. They do a fantastic job of checking me in right away and at the end of the service always make sure to ask how my experience was, offer to pre-book, update me on my package and any specials they are having. I showed her a photo and she said I will do it exactly like that so when my hair was done it was so horrible I look like Crewella Deville with the two thick pieces of blonde in front of my head it was so embarrassing in the back looked like I was 100 years old with a gray blonde hair I showed her a photo and she said she would do it just like that and when I show you the difference of what the photo look like to what my hair looked like the third photo of what JCJ did to make it fixed is an extreme difference she also charge me $220 for 4 inches of hair (JCJ charged only $100) and I also gave her A nice tip so then I had called her back to ask for a refund and she literally said to me absolutely not I do not give my customers back their money and she literally said to me it's kind of funny that you kept conversation with me about my store I thought that was shady she said to me I told her right away I wasn't completely satisfied but she told me it would get better as time went on.
