Prepping for summer of 2026 and found a problem with our kitchen sink. When winterized, had to have a new kitchen faucet put in. Now there is rust around the faucet base plate and rust spots in the sink, from some chemical that was used during the faucet installation. A&L will do nothing about the damage, which was caused from their work. Their warranty is for 90 days although we had it winterized and would not be using for at least 5 months. Seems they really can't back the techs work. Very disappointed in the service we received and their handling of the problem, flat out refusing to take the blame for shoddy workmanship.

When he was loading it back on my truck it was still making a noise and did about a 4" free fall at that time he said it was normal , like I am some kind of dummy ! First trip out I got it off my truck and the jacks wouldn't move they were both locked up ,I was stuck , called them and they said I need to bring it back in ! I ordered two jacks and put them on my self works fine now cost another $700 which dummy me told them what the problem was in the first place , but , still out $1100 ! So if yo need work done on your camper need to find a reliable person that knows what they are doing !

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude to Johnson Family RV for their exceptional service…read more Unfortunately, I have been preoccupied with other tasks and am long overdue in composing this note. Recently, while traveling from Florida to New Hampshire, we experienced an unexpected issue and totaled our travel trailer. Apparently, an object kicked up and knocked the spring pin off the through pin that holds the hitch to the receiver. This resulted in the stem of the lift jack plowing a 2 1/2 inch groove, approximately 100 feet long, down the side of Virginia's Route 100 and Dry Pond Road. The A-frame was bent approximately 20 degrees, the electric jack was severely damaged, the hitch itself was bent, and the cabin of the camper shifted forward about 1 1/2 inches. It was no longer safe to continue our journey. The truck driver, Darren, from Russells Garage (whom I also highly recommend), suggested that we take our camper to Johnson's Family RV, which proved to be excellent advice. Experiencing a camper crash and total loss halfway to your destination is an overwhelming situation, involving insurance, towing, estimates, hotel rooms, and decisions about whether to purchase a new camper or return home. However, Missy, Doug, Frank, and the entire crew at Johnson's went above and beyond to make the process as seamless as possible. They efficiently prepared the estimate, communicated with the insurance company multiple times, explaining our situation, and within a couple of days, we were able to depart with our new RV, and we couldn't be happier. The pricing was very fair (I verified), and the understanding and service they provided far exceeded our expectations. I can recommend, without reservation, that Johnsons Family RV was one of the best decisions we ever made.

Rates for the 30+ year RV chassis (is also a ASE Master diesel/gas medium/heavy truck chassis;…read morecheck out his plaques and certifications in his shop), are very reasonable. It includes two nights free camping for service appointment customers in a full RV hookup site with either 30 or 50 amp electric, city water and septic, free WIFI, picnic table with umbrella, table side BBQ grill, fire pit with free firewood, several decks on the vreek and free trout food to feed the trout. They also have stalls to accommodate folks traveling with horses! They are pet friendly and also have a full hookup campsite for weekly or monthly rental and a fully furnished vacation home (bedroom on the creek), which includes flat screen TVs in living room and bedroom. They specialize in installing M&G auxiliary braking systems, but also do SMI systems if M&G will not apply to the car or truck you want to tow, Roadmaster and Blue Ox towing systems, that after they professionally install looks like it came from the automotive factory with the car that way. They have a large customer base which many come from Florida for service work (where they used to be located), and from Canada on their way south for the winter. They are factory warranty centers for many RV part components, like Dometric, Norcold and HWH and also for Born Free motor homes. Knowledgeable and friendly, but stays pretty busy, depending on the time of the year, might be booked up a couple weeks in advance. That is really the only draw back.

I…read moretrusted the salesman (Barry) and the owner (Shannon) to be honest individuals and they were not. They stated that the trailer would be detailed and that it was in excellent condition. Neither of which were true. Two of the burners on the stove are broke, the kitchen faucet is so loose you can move it side to side, the inside was covered in cobwebs, all of the outside rubber seals are dry rotting, the inside of the heater and the refrigeration unit have debris and cobwebs which are a fire hazard, the inside of the toilet leading to the black tank is covered in feces, the bathroom latch will not stay closed, it's infested with spiders, there's a major bubble in the floor, etc. To add insult to injury I was going to hire an RV inspection and was told the owner was certified and would be happy to do it for me. Fool that I am!! I paid $30k for a 2018 Lance 1575 that will need some major repair work.

Now for the truth. We were here to buy a SylvanSport Go, Utility trailer/pop-up tent. Our salesman, Buddy was expecting us as my wife talked to him on the phone a couple times. He was very personable and took us around to compare different pop-ups and teardrops even though he knew we were pretty much sure on the SylvanSport. No rushing, no pressure, gave us the full info on the trailer and financing. We decided to go ahead, put down a deposit, get approved and pick up following weekend. Even before signing all the paperwork, they took us into the service department where Darrel showed us how to put up and take down from start to finish. We were in and out within an hour. I am very pleased with their service and promised that if we had any problems at all, to please give them a call. And I believe them! It is about an hour drive from my house but will gladly go back if I'm going to upgrade or for service. They offer every camper selection out there from teardrops, pop-ups, off road campers, fifth wheel, class c and so on.
