It was the first time that I ate food from Argentina and I really enjoyed it. The staff was nice and the background music was refreshing.

The menu is good, prices reasonable, and the food also good. Great combination. Toto, our waiter, spoke excellent English and was attentive and humorous. We had asparagus soup, Caesar salad, and a fillet. The baked potato tasted like it was boiled not baked but a small thing. Warning, they serve kangaroo, which Toto said tastes like horse. Not sure if he was serious or funny. Either way we passed. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, casual meal in Berlin

I went with the one more expensive business lunch option, the Huftsteak with baked potato for €7,95. The steak was super watery, maybe the most watery I've had. Definitely frozen. It wasn't well seasoned either, seriously if at. Had no real flavor to it. Was cooked well, though. Potato is a potato. Tomato soup was good, but tasted like canned soup... which it probably was. They gave some breadsticks and kind of like a garlic aioli type dip at the start is well, and while the dip was good, the bread was flavorless. All in all, it is a good price for the amount of food for the business lunch, but the taste and food quality was not good at all. Honestly, I'll probably try it again in the next week or so, and get chicken or the schnitzel, and see how those are. I want this place to be good so I can come for lunch more often... But so far it's not very impressive.

Our server didn't stop by to check on our water to refill. I definitely appreciate Fogo de Chao back home in Chicago. Even though it maybe pricey, the quality of service and food is top notch. Villa Rodizio may meet the standards of the locals but having eaten other places similar to this I don't recommend to those visiting Berlin. This restaurant caters to more of the locals but having pallet. The server that brought our meat was also cleaning our table and others. He was all smiles the entire time. I was expecting delicious, well seasoned, tender cuts of meat but nope; I got none of that. I was expecting big things when they said they would be offering 10 cuts of meat. Sadly these were the cuts of meat that were served (many repeats and counted as a separate cut of meat): ham, dry roast beef, chicken drumstick, chicken breast, chicken heart, pork ribs, lamb, dry sausage, plain roast pork, and some other not so great cut One thing that bothered me the most was that we were constantly served the very edge of the meats which basically were super dry and over seasoned. I was trying to ask for more of the inner part of the meat but the server was saying how he wouldn't be able to cut it due to how it was positioned. Also there was no option of choosing how I wanted my beef (like medium-rare), it was whatever he felt like cutting which was most of the time well done and super dry. Thank goodness I have had great tasting Brazilian steakhouse buffets before to know what kind of expectations I should have and this place was so far off that I would not recommend anyone coming here. It was pretty bad. Just when you think no one could screw up a Caesar salad, this places messed it up real bad. This place made me hate Caesar salad and I love Caesar salad. In their steam tray aisle and cold bar which was included as part of the buffet they served one black soup which was nasty. For 24 Euros, I much rather have ate elsewhere. It was the biggest disappointment in terms of food quality I had on my trip. No idea why one would waste money here.

We "splurged" on our last night in Berlin, although it was inexpensive in comparison to places like Mastros and Del Frisco's in the US. That said, the gentleman's cut was rather fatty, but being that I am on a ketogenic diet, no complaints from me. The 400 gram gentleman's cut was enough for two to share considering we ordered three side dishes and a side salad. We were stuffed by the end of our meal - the most satisfying meal we had all week. I mean, really...how many crispy pork knuckles and schnitzels can one person eat before giving up on life? The steak was a nice treat because I was more than ready to switch things up. The steak was perfectly seasoned and a perfect medium rare. All the sides were well prepared. I did sneak in a bite of my mom's rosemary potatoes just because I had to be able to comment on them - they were delish but something I would pass up on and opt for the mushrooms instead because the mushrooms were FANTASTIC. I also have to note that the olive oil that is served with the bread is incredible. Made me wanna eat the bread but I refrained and lived vicariously through my mom. Seems like such a simple thing but having quality olive oil that is lemon-garlic infused makes a difference between ehhhh and mmmmmmmm. Only dessert option was Crema brûlée which I can't eat due to an egg allergy, so that was a bummer. We were a little annoyed that people who got seated after us received their food well before us, but the waiter rationalized it by the size of our steak...I don't know if I buy it. But, fine whatever. Service in general was pretty slow but I think that's just a German thing. We waited over thirty minutes for our bill once we were done eating. I recommend making reservations as many walk-ins were turned away. 1 glass of wine + 2 cups of tea + 1 400g steak + 4 sides = $70+ before tip. I would say, that's an affordable steak dinner.

Please do not let the cow statue at the door give you a bad impression. I misjudged it. -Service: very attentive -Flavors: although it is mostly a steakhouse, even vegetarians will be satisfied. We had Argentine steak as main courses and sides of risotto, potato gratin, french fries and a salad (for the diet ). Food was very very tasty. Risotto was good, despite being made in a steakhouse . Portions were of decent size. -Prices: on the higher side from what I have paid in Berlin. If you are coming from the USA, pricing is moderate by Miami or San Diego standards, but you are getting a much better product here. -Why not 5 stars? The creme brulee. Great texture but not sweet enough (a little bland). Would return on my next trip to Berlin

This one is easily one of the cheapest dine in steakhouses I've been to. As I recall from my meal, I did their ribeye ordered medium. First thing I had noticed was the interesting choice of dried spices it was topped off with, and while it cut pretty easy it definitely was on the chewy side and had this weird fishy after taste (almost as if they cooked a fish on the same pan they cooked my steak). For sides, a mac n cheese and a side of green beans all to share. Mac n cheese a bit on the soupy side... meh, nice try. Green beans... definitely not so fresh. Service... One dude manning the entire place it seemed. He was the one who greeted us and waited our table. While service at any dine in restaurant in Germany in general is pretty slow, for all I know it could've been our waiter cooking the steaks himself as he was literally the only person I noticed working in the entire establishment. Anyways, not sure I got much else for ya. They do have English menus available here, but prices are not up to date so you have to refer to the regular menu in German to try and figure it out. Can't say I would come back around for this one, thus the 2 star. 'Til next time. 219/365

I can only give four stars for now, as I didn't order what I should havethe filet steak…read more I got the Hüftsteak and it was pretty good, although more rare than medium, and had enough fat/tendons in it that there were pieces I couldn't chew. But I'm not a steak expert, and my husband found it very tender and easy to eat. I forget that steak is not really my thing unless it is a good (read: more expensive) cut. I should really stick to chicken or Schweinefilet unless I want to get the good stuff. The beilagen we orderedBratkartoffeln, Foliekartoffel, roasted onionwere very good. Plentiful, nicely spiced. The mushroom sauce I ordered was so-lala, not bad, but nothing to rave about. The salad was positively awfuldrenched in a not-nice dressing, the iceberg was limp even as it arrived at the table. But, how much can you complain for the price We went tonighta Fridayaround 7.30 and the place was not terribly busy, but they had enough to do. The staff were friendly and the food came out very quickly. I ordered a white wine which could have been colder, but who knows how long a white wine stays chilled at this temperature (around 30° I think) anyway. Service was prompt and efficient. At some point I was eating around the rawer bits in my steak and a servernot the one who'd been serving uscame and asked if I'd like it to be put back on the grill, which I declinedI was not hungry enough to finish it anyway. Next time, though, I will probably order the filet and probably medium well instead of medium. Not only for the price, but in general, a very angenehme experience. We will be back soon to try out different cuts of meat and for sure leave the salad (and possibly sauce) out of the picture. Two people, two 500 gram steaks, five sides and two drinks plus two sauces came out to just over EUR40. You get a better steak at Blockhouse, sure, but San Diego didn't seem to want to kick us out of our seats the second we were finished, unlike some more upscale places. The situation of the restaurant is also very scenic and relaxing. We were greeted as we entered and bid adieu as we left; we felt very welcome and comfortable there. Altogether a very nice experience. Will update here after our next visit.
