Probably the best thing to happen to it. I had never even noticed it when it was in its previous position. My last pair of Tom Ford glasses from a high end chain cost me £500, which I actually lost attending a Yelp event (another story!). I came here a while back and asked if I already had a frame, could they fit the lenses for me. They said that they could. I ordered a pair of Tom Ford's online at a cost of £140. This optician advised me that the lense would be £165. I came in with frame and prescription from my previous optition. One week on, I'm not the proud owner of a pair of Tom Ford glasses at £305 compared to £500 for my previous pair. I'm one happy chappy! I was really impressed with the service I received. They also said that if I found a frame liked from another optician, to give them the serial number. They advised that they could probably purchase them for me at 20% less than the RRP. Thay are also open on a Sunday, which is very handy.

Had a traditional eye test too. Sabrina was excellent and the team was fast. The price for the full set of tests was $105 and I felt it was good value as well. I have been a client of the eye place spending thousands of pounds over the course of 2 years for Ortho-K treatment. Today I arrived ten minutes late for an appointment and was told that I would not be seen and would have to leave. I was literally told "we can see you but if another patient comes in you have to get out immediately". Not even dogs are spoken to in this manner. I was literally greeted by the attending optician telling me "you are late... mate" in a condescending tone. I have never been referred to as "mate" and this is definitely not the tone staff should be taking with customers and patients. I highly recommend investing in lessons to teach manners and RESPECT and customer service. Over time I cannot count the numerous occasions that I have been made to wait (sometimes twenty minutes or more!) while the attending optician would sit on their office on their computer with no patient in sight. I understand that being late caused an issue however they could have gotten started on the appointment instead of wasting time telling me how busy the day is and that the attending optician won't even have time for lunch. It is not my problem that they are not able to schedule appointments efficiently. Alex should invest more in training the staff on how to treat clients and how to ensure that the proper tone is adopted when dealing with issues. I will definitely not be returning and for other patients considering Ortho-K I would recommend Visioncare on Harley street.

I tried the chat function on their website, no response. I sent a message on their facebook page, no response. After my second email to customer service they responded by saying "we'll let you know when it's on its way". There's no option to cancel the order so I'll have to talk to my credit card company to get my money back. This is genuinely one of the best opticians in london if you have a complex prescription and like a…read morebit of style. The place is reasonably priced but is certainly on the premium end. That said, you will look good and be able to see yourself in the mirror after. Firstly Jonathan, the owner is, to say the least, eccentric. You will hear his life story with a wonderful smile and at the end he will recommend frames for you that are just perfect. He seems to have a total handle on style and knows whats in and out. You cannot go wrong with him. The experience with the testing was also wonderful. The optician (whose name I've sadly forgotten) spent over an hour testing my eyes and noted a decade long error in my prescription all while my partner was engaged in a (very long) conversation with Jonathan. I ended up buying two pairs of glasses with high index lenses for around £1000 and three month's supply of 'toric' contact lenses. I been using them ever since and people have (for the first time ever) noticed how good they looked! This place has my full and hearty recommendation!

Milton's ordered the glasses, we left, and now 1 month later a doctor noticed something off. My son's glasses were tested, and the lenses are incorrect. Not just a bit off, but so shockingly off that they have damaged my son's eyes after 1 month of daily wear. This error is beyond negligence. It is inexcusable, and has caused serious problems for my son. We are now stuck, abroad, without proper prescription glasses and my son's eyes have been damaged.
