From the beginning the communication has been horrendous and the follow-through on their promises even worse. We had to hand-hold them at every turn to make sure they did all that they quoted us. We have been told they were going to come pick up the trash multiple times in the last month and the trash is still sitting in our driveway. Overall poor experience, however, the work got done and the house is back in working condition and looks nice.

The receptionist said they do, and claimed they don't charge for the drive. I got an estimate based on how many rooms. It seemed high, but considering the favorable reviews on line, I figured they must be worth it. Later that evening I received a message saying that someone named Jason had upped the estimated from $460-$490 to $510 with no reason given. She told me about a $30 off coupon on their web site that I could use, which 'magically' brings it back down to the original estimate range. The receptionist also said they were available Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I called back the next morning and left a message. I accepted the estimate, and said either day was fine. I also asked they call me back with which day and morning or afternoon. No response on Tuesday. I called back again and left a similar message on the other phone number she gave me. No call back on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I called and left the message to cancel, and if they came out, it was on their expense, not ours. Also, I said I would be posting a negative review. I got an immediate call back with an apology. However, the receptionist 'claimed' she didn't get any of my previous messages even though my third message (that she was returning the call from) was to the exact same phone numbers I had left the first two messages. We have light-colored carpet throughout the house, and get it filthy quite easily. We get carpets cleaned at least once, if not twice, each year. I've used Baum two times now, and I won't call anyone else. They're incredibly thorough, getting out stains that other carpet cleaners left behind. They always show up right on time (which is pretty unusual from what I've experienced) and they are very professional. Can't recommend Baum highly enough.
