We welcomed the newest member to the family this month Koa. At 5 months she is a handful. But we have that covered with training for us and Koa Courtney and team have patience and so much knowledge to share with us as we raise our new pup. If you're in need of training this is the place to go!

We took our three dogs to obedience training. They always pulled on the leash, so we took them to Global K9. They fixed that problem in three days. The staff there is amazing and very friendly. The way they train their dogs is incredible and fun to watch, especially bitework! They take good care of your dogs and make sure they get some love while they are away from home.

I don't even know where to begin in complimenting K-9 Companions!…read more Puppy Jack went off to his boot camp on the way to being my service dog in March 2023. He was a typical, crazy Australian Shepherd puppy and came back a well-adjusted, attentive, obedient, and magnificent adult dog. Imagine sending your messy son who never made his bed, kept his room a mess, and didn't get stuff done. Then imagine having that son home from boot camp with the clean room, tight sheets, and helping around the house. Well, I got the dog version of that when Jack came back. Once I know more specifics about what Jack will need to learn to help with my condition as it progresses, I will get him back to K-9 Companions!

I understand I'm the outlier here and everyone for the most part has had great experiences, which…read moreis what makes mine even more odd.. I reached out this last week to inquire about their veteran program for service dogs and bootcamp. Gave Karen all my info and let her know I had a 15 week shepherd and a 4 year old shepherd. My 4 year old was trained by DTE and haven't worked with them in over a year and a half at this point. We ended the phone call and then she followed up via text asking me some random questions that didn't really make sense to me and then after I tried reaching out via phone. She texted me after I inquired about our scheduled meeting and said there was a conflict of interest and declined to work with us. Wouldn't elaborate, I tried calling and got literally sent to voicemail, and essentially ghosted after that text. I still have no idea what the conflict of interest is, why that would even matter that my other service dog whose 4 was trained by someone else years ago, and what that has to do with my current puppy. Mind you my work with DTE was done in Utah not even in Tennessee... So bizarre and just weird how this was handled.. So I guess just be cautious but everyone else seems to have had great luck at least.
