So I took it to my local AT&T store where they swapped out my Sim card so I could use it in my old Samsung phone temporarily and then they referred me to Inspector Gadget in Owensboro Kentucky thank goodness. Inspector Gadget accepted my new battery and replaced it also replaced my screen that was required because I broke a cable trying to install my new battery for only $60 all included. They returned it to me in the mail for the total cost of $66. They were so nice on the phone and so accommodating I could not believe the fast turnaround they received it on Tuesday and I received my new furbished phone on Friday. I had an old Dell Inspiron 17 (purchased in '09) that I thought I was going to have to replace. The…read moreunit was very sluggish and would take forever to load a page saved on the computer, and longer for web sites. It continued to get worse. Face recognition worked when it wanted to (not very often). A finally the power button gave way and pushed inside the device. I forgot to mention that the battery had died several years ago so i had to keep it plugged in to use it. I decided to give The Fix 411 a try before ordering a new unit. Best decision ever. The power switch had a broken solder connection, so that was repaired. They replaced my battery and old hard drive and transferred ALL my files from the old drive to the new one. Did I mention this was all done for less than 1/8th of the cost of my computer when I purchased it 17 years ago, and under 10% of what a comparable device would cost today. Saved $$$$$ thousands by repairing. And the best news is that it runs faster and more efficient than it did when it was new. The Fix has earned all of my tech business.

I took it in and of course now they decide to tell me that "We can't guarantee anything will be waterproof after we work on it." Do your job and do it the right way and stop hiding behind stupid rules and clauses. Horrendous business, they clearly don't know what they're doing and refuse to take any amount of responsibility. He had a battery, and nobody waiting ahead of me for service and was able to do the replacement quickly. It did take an extra 40 minutes to charge enough to do function checks, but for $40.00 bucks it was reasonable. After reading the other review, I had some reservations, so we'll see how long this new battery lasts. I can always go to the authorized service center in the future, but their rating was poor. It probably depends on the technician doing the work on repair and service quality. So far, very pleased with Phone Todd's work. If I get another year out of this battery, it will be worth it to do it again rather than get a new phone and I like the series 7 as it does everything I need.

It took us no longer than that time to get there, in which time the owner had left to "run an errand." Again, unprofessional, blatantly rude, and obviously someone who isn't looking for the business.
