So I took it to my local AT&T store where they swapped out my Sim card so I could use it in my old Samsung phone temporarily and then they referred me to Inspector Gadget in Owensboro Kentucky thank goodness. Inspector Gadget accepted my new battery and replaced it also replaced my screen that was required because I broke a cable trying to install my new battery for only $60 all included. They returned it to me in the mail for the total cost of $66. They were so nice on the phone and so accommodating I could not believe the fast turnaround they received it on Tuesday and I received my new furbished phone on Friday. He had a battery, and nobody waiting ahead of me for service and was able to do the replacement quickly. It did take an extra 40 minutes to charge enough to do function checks, but for $40.00 bucks it was reasonable. After reading the other review, I had some reservations, so we'll see how long this new battery lasts. I can always go to the authorized service center in the future, but their rating was poor. It probably depends on the technician doing the work on repair and service quality. So far, very pleased with Phone Todd's work. If I get another year out of this battery, it will be worth it to do it again rather than get a new phone and I like the series 7 as it does everything I need.
