I have gone to Glistening two other times and loved my experience and the spray tan result. I got a level 3 express and it looked so natural. This time around, I got a level 2.5 express. The tan once applied looked darker than my last two times but I trusted the process. I rinsed it off at the appropriate time and went to bed. When I woke up I couldn't look past my bright orange hands. They are noticeably darker than the rest of my body and looks like I just shoved my hand in a Cheetos bag. I look even darker than last year even though I got a lighter level. I also followed the appointment preparation tips. I am confused by the inconsistency with the spray tans. read more

I just moved to PVD from the Cape and was in need of a spray tan for my BIL's wedding ASAP, and three other upcoming weddings as well. Between the ease of making appointments by text and the scheduling flexibility, this is by far my favorite spray tan EVER! I have been to overly expensive Cape Cod bougie tans, cheap self tans, you name it. This is the best tan I have ever had, it's even and it stuck for 2 weeks with apt moisturizing and care. I am an extremely pale Irish ginger and went with a Level 3- which looked deceivingly natural, then my husband went with a level 2.5 and looked like a Ken Doll (in a good way). Got my first spray-tan ever at GG, and I was glistening during my trip to Alaska. I was hesitant about getting a spray-tan because my skin is naturally tan, but in the winter, it gets yellow-ish tan and super uneven. I was worried a spray-tan would make me look orange, or not even work on me, but I plunged into it with an open mind, and bare bod. Before I went in, I had shoulders, arms, and legs that looked like they were transplanted from someone else's body--definitely not the look I wanted on my birthday cruise--but after I got sprayed at GG (and avoided water for a good 12hrs), I was glistening and looking 'dayummm' fine. Their weekend pricing was great too. Paid $25 to look healthier and toned (if only an illusion)--not a bad price to pay in my book. The tan is sprayed with a machine by hand (by a person), and the whole process takes less than 20minutes. Will definitely be back here and recommend it for a no-shame, quick, hassle-free, and beautiful spray tan. I haven't tried their other services like teeth whitening, but I've heard good things. Booking the appointment was also super convenient, easy, and over text. Important note: FOLLOW ALL OF THEIR INSTRUCTIONS. So disclaimer, this was my first and only spray tan. However, it was such a great experience! I decided to get a spray tan the day before having some professional photos taken. They were able to get me in on relatively short notice, and took good precautions with maintaining social distancing as much as possible. They took time to answer all my questions and help me pick the best color. They also are very receptive to answering questions about aftercare via text message after you leave. I like it here, the tan comes out great but you have to make sure to ask for Norvell sunless tanner to be used on you. I like to ask for an extra layer or 2 , but that's just me! I've never gotten a spray tan. Never needed to. My skin tone is considered "tan", so I never felt the need to get darker. In preparation for my birthday celebration I decided I wanted to even out my skin tone, particularly my chest area. Those tan lines have left me looking pale and with the low cut dress I was planning on wearing I did not want two different shades of skin tones! I arrived for my scheduled appointment. When I walked in I was greeted with a canvas of pink purple walls filled with sassy décor. I instantly found myself looking at all the small details & loved all of it. The waiting area is kept very clean. There are magazines and again, fun décor to keep you reading. Cassandra, the owner was very nice and made me feel very comfortable as it was my first time. She had me fill out a questionnaire, regarding allergies, concerns, etc. She went over all the questions with me to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted. Once I entered the area where I would be spray tanned, she walked me through everything she was doing. She was super nice and we started talking about her business as I was getting tanned. She's had her business for 4 years and it's her baby, I can tell. Because she treats all of her clients very well and visually speaking, makes sure her business is appealing. I would recommend Glistening Goddesses to anyone looking for a nice tan. She will NOT make you look orange, all her sprays are brown based and look very natural. I have been to Glistening Goddess twice and have been very happy with my experience! I went because I was in two weddings and the palest one in the group by leaps and bounds. Cassandra was very helpful when I called to make my first appointment. My first time spray tan I had no idea what to expect or how to prepare, she patiently explained everything and I was confident that I was prepped correctly upon arrival. Went here twice, first time was a great experience however the second time I was orange and splotchy. I also received quite a bit of attitude from the employee. Wanted to make a new appointment for a wedding I have coming up, trying to give user error as a benefit of the doubt from my previous visit. My dog passed away the day of my appointment so I couldn't make it. I was informed after making my new appointment I would have to pay full price for not showing for my last appointment. Well I'm two toned now and if it were my body I would t care but it's my face. My face is two toned & it appears like she completely missed my ears. One side of neck is not too even as well. This is THE ONLY place you should be getting spray tanned in RI (and Hockomock area Massachusetts too!) Cassandra and her team do an amazing job of making you feel at ease and comfortable both before, during and after the tan. I find the prices extremely reasonable but beware: once you start getting spray tans here, you will never want to stop! Cassandra has flawlessly guided me in picking level and appropriate attire to wear during the tan every time, including the most amazing tan for my wedding. I came here for the teeth whitening and definitely noticed a difference in my teeth. Cassandra was super attentive and wonderful checking up on me to make sure I was okay since your mouth will naturally produce alot of saliva while the light is doing it's thing. I honestly actually liked too how plump my lips got with the whole aloe Vera stuff to protect your lips. I was like dang I'm getting like a 2 for 1 here lol. However, I felt pretty gorgeous after both spray tans I got here and will absolutely come back and recommend them. So far it was bachelorette and wedding - did not ruin either white dress with my tan! Very good instructions from the owner on skin care!
