Jeri, Ted, and their team are super awesome to work with-- very communicative and extremely kind. The Timbers was the first tour my husband and I toured in our search, and Jeri encouraged us to take our time in our search-- creating a pressure-free experience in our decision making. My husband and I knew we had found our venue after we toured because of how welcoming both the people and the space were. We booked it the next day! Now that our reception has come and passed, I am delighted to say that Jeri ensured a stress-free experience. She was communicative throughout the lead up to our reception, and her team was able to cover set up of our decorations. Everything turned out beautifully! Our guests were stunned by the beauty of the place, I lost track of how many times people asked us how we found such a gem of a place. Numerous guests called The Timbers enchanting and feeling like a fairytale. People additionally enjoyed the swings that were placed out, as well as exploring and feeding the ducks with the duck feed. A great place to play Bingo. I mean it, after yesterday's game I am hooked! Bingo is played here…read moreevery second Sunday, and each time it benefits a different charity. I paid $12 for one packet of Bingo games, and had fun playing with some friends for about three hours total. Next month I want to come again! Remember to bring cash to purchase bingo games, extra games, and to purchase drinkies and snacks from the snack bar. There were nachos, hot dogs, and chips available yesterday. Beer, wine, and soda were available drinkies. They also had free water and coffee provided. If you don't have your own dobber for Bingo they provide free rentals, but you can also buy one for $1 in cash. They also have raffles included with your Bingo packet, so hang on to that ticket. I won a bottle of Sobon Cab Sauv in one of the raffle drawings yesterday! :-) They have bathrooms downstairs and upstairs too, and though it does get busy we were easily able to find five seats together. Of course, two of us did show up early. For next time I will remember to again arrive early and bring cash for this cash only event. If you have never played legit Bingo before, they are patient and helpful. It is beginner friendly with many helpers available and walking around the room. Highly recommend! Yay Bingo! Ultimately, I think this is an awesome resource in our community! I love that various groups and communities are able to rent out the space for whatever the need. I started working with Sarah, one of the owners, 6 months prior to the party. She was friendly, flexible and accommodating to our requests. On the day of the party we arrived to the venue an hour early and were shocked at the condition it was in. The windows were dirty, dust and cobwebs were on the window sills and walls, the linen was incredibly wrinkly, and the bathroom was DISGUSTING. There was hair and grime in the sink, the floors were filthy, a half roll of toilet paper on the roll and a piece of a tampon wrapper on the ground. It was apparent that no one had bothered to clean before we came. To make matters worse, the prep space for our caterer was completely inhabitable. The prep table was covered in their belongings, the sinks were full of wrapped dishes and the floor had not been swept or mopped. The worst part of the kitchen was the DIRTY DISHES with food left in the hallway on top of a molded sink. The only mop available had been sitting in dirty mop water for what looked like a week or two. We called Sarah who had just gotten out of surgery, so she gave us the number for Kayla, one of the other owners. I explained the situation, sent her all of the photos only to never hear from her again. Sarah did come by the venue 30 minutes after the party had started to have her daughter tidy up the bathroom (clean the sink and sweep). I later on had to go through the other rooms just to find toilet paper for our guests. At the party we were told she would be talking to the other owners about the refund. I followed up with her on Tuesday with no response. She texted me the next day, Wednesday, saying she would be speaking with her team and will get back to me that evening. I didn't hear anything so I texted her on Friday with no response and again on Sunday. They ultimately decided that out of the $700 we paid for the venue, we were only getting $100 back. When we reminded her of all of the photos and inhabitable condition the venue was in, their only response was that we used the space and because she let us come in the night before to set up, they were already being more than accommodating. As a business, I can't wrap my mind around being proud of the product that they presented and not owning any fault to how disgusting the venue really was. I would never recommend anyone to book this venue and hope no one else has this experience in the future.

That was over 7 days ago. No response from either of them. It's been over a month and no refund. I followed their policy and nothing. I am now hearing I am not the only person to have issues with them when it comes to money. I would never recommend this place. Which is sad because Dixon needs a place like this. But the business is shady, and unresponsive. Bad business and bad for our city. I will not attend events here either, so other businesses will lose out on business as well. I'd give them no stars if I could.

She and her son work unceasingly to make it a great place for horses and owners.  Dani has an amazing natural rapport with animals as evidenced by the puppy rescue she is also involved in.
