She is thorough with her assessment and there is no doubt of her ability and knowledge in this field. She has a variety of treatment methods depending on your situation. My previous experience with other therapists has been a long wait in the waiting room, followed by another long wait in the treatment area and then getting hooked up to a machine for 20min or so. Cindy's office will have none of that! You are in as soon as you walk in the door and you are not left waiting for treatment. Exceptional service, exceptional treatment! If you are suffering discomfort, do not delay....seek out Global Physiotherapy and trust me, you will not be disappointed!

I've been seeing Dr. Fleck at Baseline Chiropractic and Wellness Center ever since he opened almost…read more20 years. Always for chiropractic care. After two sessions this week he suggested I get a massage (as I hadn't had one for a "few" years). I had a knot in my lower back that just wouldn't listen to his care. So Wednesday morning I called into their office and got in to see Keziah that afternoon. OH MY GOD!! She was awesome!!! Although Dr Fleck recommended all the massage therapists in his office, I was able to get her in short notice. It was the best deep tissue massage I ever had and she knew exactly how much pressure to apply. Where to apply it and for how long. I was able to dance my way out of the office that afternoon and still moving perfectly today. Because of Keziah I'll be able to golf on Friday with no concerns. So if anyone wants a recommendation for a massage therapist contact Baseline Chiropractic and Wellness Center and asked for Keziah Ragui. And a recommendation for a chiropractor would be Dr. Fleck. But honestly all of the Chiropractors there are awesome. I know all of them personally and wouldn't hesitate to see any of them. Tell them Todd sent you. Thanks again Keziah and Dr Fleck!!

I can't say I have used any other services such as acupuncture, massage or nutritionist but it is a nice option to have all in the same place.

As he manipulates and moves the parts of my hand around, he explains why and what he is doing in each step. He is very knowledgeable and in the few months I've been going to him, my hand has gone from a 3 in pain and functioning (out of 10) to a 9. I accepted his recommendations of cupping and needling and was pleased with the result. He sends me away with exercises to continue the improvement on my hand, after first demonstrating them and supervising my practice movements. In my last visit he gave me a few more exercises, which he feels should help me bring my hand and forearm to full recovery. Nooman was personable and professional--I recommend him to anyone needing physiotherapy.

I really love Integrated Therapies. I was a bit apprehensive at first because looking on the…read morewebsite they seemed to offer lots of holistic treatments which I wasn't familiar with. I was having a lot of all over pain and had been referred for lymphatic drainage which my regular massage therapist didn't do (and which sounded very strange and terrifying, I was imagining a mad scientist lab and tubes to drain out lymphatic fluid, eek! It's actually just a gentle massage, no literal draining involved.) I ended up booking with Anne as she does the lymphatic drainage as well as several other therapies. The clinic is located in a cute little house on the corner of 101 St and 80th Avenue. As soon as I walked in I was struck by the utter peace and tranquility of the place. It was so quiet compared to the chaos outside and I could happily have dozed off just sitting on the sofa in the waiting area. My massage therapist, Anne, is just lovely. I was half expecting someone very spiritual, wearing flowing robes and waving incence (because I'm ridiculous like that) but she is a very charming and practical German lady with additional qualifications in physiotherapy. One of the first things she said to me was "sit up straight, you'll feel better if you're not slouching all the time." It's true, I do!! Before we started our treatment she did an assessment of my body and biomechanics (I've always experienced this as more of a physio thing) and based on that she decided that rather than do lymphatic drainage we should change our focus and try Bowen therapy instead. This involves sort of tweaking/moving all the muscles in the body. It's very non-invasive and didn't hurt at all and I walked out feeling much better! I really like that Anne has a lot of experience with different types of therapy and she can customize and incorporate different techniques into my treatments. She also gave me a thorough treatment plan with different recommendations for exercises, videos, a stability cushion for my work chair, and orthotics. So far everything has worked and Anne is now my regular massage therapist. I can't recommend Integrated Therapies enough!

My primary go-to place for healing when muscles get too tight for external treatment (aka massage)…read moreand require more intrusive intervention (ie. IMS) I found my current favourite physiotherapist back in 2018 after my previous massage therapist left practice, and she is FANTASTIC! Not a huge fan of acupuncture (bad experiences before) but for some bewildering reason I respond really well to IMS treatment like dry needling (Like the old Buckleys commercial "it hurts, and it works") Most of the time I go for needles it basically fixes my muscle issues like the next day (unless it's really bad maybe another treatment or 2) Man I'd be so messed up without this as a last resort when chiropractic or massage attempts fail to bring relief (the cons of being hyper flexible lol...) Coupled with some cupping therapy, heat packs and mobility stretching, they guide me back to my normal active disposition ‍ ‍ Highly recommend

I sustained an injury to my lower back and physical therapy was recommended. The owner came highly…read morerecommended and the convenience of close proximity to my work sealed the deal. To his credit, the owner was friendly and appeared knowledgeable while doing his assessment on me. However, the service all fell apart when he then delegated the work to his assistants-a collection of apathetic, 20 something undergrads who cared less about care than rushing though a demonstration exercise so that they can get back to their social media. The 'sweatshop' atmosphere of the therapist working with 15-20 patients simultaneously, didn't exactly put me at ease of getting hands on quality care. I also understood that the most important part of recovery was to do the recommended exercises prescribed by the care-provider independently. However, the generic exercises he gave me to do at home appeared to aggravate my injuries further. When I attempted to contact the therapist by phone to ask for guidance, I was told he would get back to me ASAP. He called 2 weeks after my initial call. By then, I was already involved with MOMENTUM Physiotherapy recovering nicely(See my review). To sum up, my experience was awful in that instead of receiving care for my injury, I was being processed like a piece of meat going through an assembly line, where squeezing as many people into a workspace supersedes actual care.

The reason I chose this particular clinic was to use the Biodex machine to increase my range of motion. It did not disappoint even tho I had to live outside of my home community for 2 months. I was told it is the only machine in Canada situated in a physio clinic. The Capilano staff from the front desk right through to other therapists and assistants are warm and welcoming. Arjun, my physio therapist was skilled and engaging while always focused on my recovery and increased range of motion. I highly recommend him. His assistant Ava was so kind and personable. As well as physio I utilized other gym equipment in addition to the Biodex. This included a treadmill developed by NASA that can reduce your weight for walking. Allie, the kinesiologist is helpful and engaging. When I have a second knee replacement in about 12 months, it will also be a complicated procedure. I will relocate to Edmonton once again just because of the gains I was able to achieve at Capilano. Thank you Arjun, Ava and Allie.
