I went in and sat down. The server was nice and brought my coffee and water, and I decided on the buffet (~$13). The biscuits were heavy and good - the gravy was thicker than I like, but still good. Bacon was big but flimsy (I like a bit crispier) and the sausage links were good. There were scrambled eggs available, and they were real (not watery/powdered), but seemed to have sat in their container for a while. Also, the shredded hash browns were soft - I like crispy potatoes. The buffet also had pancakes, French toast and fruit, but I passed on those. You could tell the restaurant was a local favorite - several people were chatting across tables while I was there. Nice and clean (didn't visit restrooms), and thought the price was good overall. Definitely homemade food!

Nila's serves breakfast until 2pm, and they highly recommended trying the homemade biscuits and gravy, so of course we had to give them a try. We also had the French toast and an omelet filled with meat, cheese, and hash browns and topped with gravy. Everything was really good, but the biscuits and gravy were definitely my favorite! The biscuits and gravy tasted homemade and fresh--not like the typical big, store-bought biscuits you get at some places. They were absolutely delicious! If you're in French Lick and looking for a good, local breakfast spot, definitely give Nila's a try. We're glad we did! Service was also spectacular!!

I mean, you could eat here three times a week for the price of going to any other restaurant once per week. Most of the breakfast dishes were like...$5 or under.
