Now that the pandemic is over and inflation is hitting us all, the price of my haircut has gone up to $25, but that's still great value for the amazing haircut I always get. This place is a great place to get your hair cut. One is that hey are reasonably priced, two they do a great job and three they are always pleasant!! My kids and I always feel fresh and sharp after a cut with them. They are a traditional family owned barber and they know what they are doing. I hate Supercuts because they rush through and don't use blades, but Glendora barber shop takes their time, makes adjustments as you need and offer the blade for a clean line in the back. I also enjoy their shaves once in a while too. They do it right. Never been cut and the shave is always close and clean. They are close to my area so that helps also. They are good for kids too. After having the same guy cut my hair for about 25 years I was at something of a loss when he died. Damned inconsiderate if you ask me. Anyhow, I tried haircutters far and wide to replace my old friend when out of the blue I overhear this guy telling another dad (at a baseball game) about his great barber. (They were talking about a shave), anyhow, I gave them a go. Then another, with a different cutter; then a third. I'm hooked. Rosie is an artist. This had to be one of my worst experiences at a barber shop till this day. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with three female barbers present and no greeting. My hair was down to the tip of my nose and I had a beard. I asked if she could trim the top and fade the side to go into my beard. When I left the middle of the top of my head hair was longer than everything else. Even worse the cut more than 2 inches off in length on all of my hair which is going to take forever to grow back. My beard was about 3 inches long I wanted my beard faded with a point with a number 3 with a line up. Yet she gets the number 2 and just shaves my whole beard Besides the fact that I wanted it faded and lined up she shaves me which I think is included? Ended up in a bit of a pinch at work. It was Monday, our company was taking photos for the company directory Tuesday morning, and my normal barber was closed on Mondays -and my hair? Well, let's just say I either had to get a haircut or a dog tag! So begrudgingly I went out in search of a barber that was open near my work at lunch Monday in hopes of finding someone that wouldn't completely butcher my hair for the photos the next day. I came across Glendora Barber Shop here on Yelp and decided to try it, with limited but positive reviews, I figured it was risky, but better than getting my picture taken with a hairdo that looked like I was attacked by a brown sheep! I walked in and was greeted by a guy named Greg who promptly had me take a seat and get started. I asked him for a 4, and this is where some of the -1 star comes from. I'm not sure if it's the numbers that differ, or if he just went a little shorter than I asked, but ultimately my cut ended a bit on the short side for what I expected from a "4" on the sides. This wasn't a big deal, because quite frankly, shorter than I wanted or not, the cut turned out great, and my time in the chair with Greg was enjoyable. I'm a bit of a quiet person with people I don't know, but I ended having a good conversation with him which led to an enjoyable experience overall. The other part of the -1 star came from the fact that the cut, while it turned out well, ran rather long. This was probably due mostly to our good conversation, though, so I feel somewhat remiss for even mentioning it...but I did end up a bit late for work because of it. All that said, I have to say, my experience at the Glendora Barber Shop was a very positive one, and I will definitely be returning. I really enjoyed the good conversation, friendly people, and the cut was, despite being a tad shorter than I had wanted, really well done (and that's saying a lot -it's tough to get my hair right!). read more

This is the best barber in town! They don't have any gimmicks, they just cut hair! They don't rush your haircut either, they will take time and do it to your liking! It's the only place my son and I go for our haircuts! One note: go early or during non-lunch/post work hours because they can get busy and the wait can be up to 30-45 minutes. The wait however, is proof of the value they put into each customers satisfaction with their haircut! Did I mention it's also the least expensive haircut I've found! Love this place! read more

***update 8/9/2013*** so, the last two times we've walked out, the haircut looks great. but then we get home and after the gel or hair products is washed out, i see that the cut is very choppy and uneven. i don't know if this is how it's supposed to be, but it is a problem for us, since my son doesn't generally like to wear hair product in his hair. but the ladies are still very nice. there are now 2 new haircutters in the store (one of the other ladies left). read more

Don't know how this place has good reviews. I went there 3 times each time they cut my hair worse. The people r cool but dam do they suck at cutting hair which is unfortunate because it's a barber shop. Last time I went and it will be the last time they send me home with a bowl cut. If u dont know how to do a fade just say u don't know dont let me be ur practice. Now i got to wear hats out in public because im embarassed of this messed up haircut. I have received haircuts from two different people, one of them being the shop owner Rosie. They both did an incredible job and the service was like none other. I'm very picky when it comes to my hair because it's wild and rebellious and grows from every direction. So someone who knows how to successfully cut it is in my opinion one of the better barbers. This business took an appointment from us in which they stated that due to the covid pandemic they only have one employee and one client in at the time. It was ahead of my son's high school senior pictures and we were clear that safety was a major concern for us. When we got there there were three clients and three employees, in a small place and some of the employees and the clients did not even have a mask on. Prices are very reasonable - cheaper than most barbers. Wednesday is seniors day and seniors can get a haircut for $10.
