He is like a drill sergeant, and as insensitive as one. In the first 5 minutes, he interrupted me several times and offered snap solutions to all of my concerns. Not a sympathetic counselor at all. I tried to defend myself from his verbal onslaught, to which afterwards he simply praised my "setting boundaries" on his insolent statements. You shouldn't have to instantly set boundaries with a counselor who is verbally attacking you. He is not a calm, patient counselor who listens respectfully and does not interrupt you. He was a talker, non-stop, and glared at me the entire time. He did not allow me to speak a full sentence without blaming ME for my problems in a hostile way. And I had just met him! I did not make a second appointment with him.

Associates faxed over the form immediately and had the prior authorization approved within 2 hours! The pharmacist told me he had never seen prior-authorization approved so quickly! I arrived to a completely empty office, not even a receptionist. Waited there for roughly five minutes and then was greeted by a woman with dark hair. Filled out some paperwork, waited some more. I specifically scheduled an appointment at this office because I wanted a female Psychiatrist, and my insurance said that Leon Legan was in network. To my dismay, I was again greeted by an older gentleman, Donald Legan. He then said to follow him and we would get started. I was about to cancel the session but figured what the hell. I drove 50 minutes here might as well give it a go. Never. Again. He was arrogant, condescending, and I'm almost certain senile. The tone he used was that you would give to an infant. I'm a grown adult. He laughed at everything I said, even when I was being serious. He told me straight to my face that my boyfriend (of almost six years!) was just a fling/convenient. He made two sexual references all of which were completely irrelevant to the conversation we were having. He couldn't remember where I lived or where I wanted to move to (Quebec), instead he kept saying the complete opposite. On top of him making fun of me for my hobbies. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. Either way it irked me. After almost two gruelling hours he finally handed me a binder with like 850 multiple choice questions and told me to fill it out and return it at our next session. I got home later that night, and just to humor myself I looked at it and there was someone else's information already filled in on a separate answer sheet. His full name, personal questions, and birth date. I could be mistaken, but I was under the impression everything was supposed to be confidential. I'm over it, I don't foresee any more visits in my future. I'll discuss it with my family doctor instead.
