Eh nothing special about this place. It's just like any other apartment complex, thin walls, one way in one way out.

But after looking at it anyway I decided this was the place for me and now two years later Im still happy with my decision. The on-site manager Elizabeth is so awesome! I saw that one person gave a bad review and I can tell you they are being overly critical. Anytime I have had an issue with my stove or fridge it was taken care of right away. These guys go over and beyond to do their job. My stove went out, god knows why but that's what happens. They break down and guess what, it's either time to get them fixed or replaced all together. Mine thankfully didn't have to be replaced but it was fixed right away. Some people are way too picky and think they have maids here. Seriously if you don't how things are run in a business then buy a house. There you can make your own rules. I'm more shocked to hear that the manager was rude. She has a huge job to do and she gets it done. All I hear are great compliments from her. I was referred here and thank god I was. The manager was so helpful she really is awesome to have. Don't get disappointed from that idiot resident, Selena, i think is her name. For the 5 years living here not once did I ever have a problem with maintenance nor the manager. I got 5 years down and I'm not moving out of here anytime soon. Looking more into that Selena W. profile, she's given almost everyone a bad review. Someone really needs a life!

If you think it's a little pricey, then welcome to the Bay!! I GUARANTEE that the property, staff, and amenities make it worthwhile to rent here! The pool/spa is always clean and heated. The property is well maintained. The gym has just been renovated. It is a very safe and ideal spot. Did I mention they are extremely pet friendly!?!? I am so glad I was able to rent a 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom from Sterling Heights for the year of 2018. Sadly, my time with Sterling Heights is coming to an end. If I could, I would pack up Sterling Heights and bring them with me so I could live there FOREVER. Big shout out to Ashley, Jesus, and Javier for always welcoming me with a smile and taking care of business when issues would arise. I will truly miss Sterling Heights and will never forget the time I spent there! THANK YOU Follow Up!! There was some complications that came up when it came to receiving my security deposit due to my address changing. After a few emails Ashley had my check in the mail. Their sense of urgency combined with great customer service makes one awesome management team and one great place to live! Thank you Ashley and team.

There are so many trees and plants throughout the property that it genuinely feels like being surrounded by nature. The layout also makes it feel more spacious than most complexes--it doesn't feel cramped or overly dense. If you value a peaceful environment, this really offers that. The office staff are consistently friendly, kind, and supportive. They've always made me feel valued as a resident (and as a person), which goes a long way. In terms of amenities, it leans more toward the luxurious side--having an in-unit washer and dryer, updated appliances, and A/C, along with access to a gym, pool, hot tubs, sauna, and even a racquetball court, has made things feel really comfortable. I also find it's just a really pleasant place to walk around, with some beautiful lookout spots and views of the water. A special shoutout to the maintenance team--they've been incredible. Always friendly, respectful, and responsive. I've consistently experienced them as timely and detail-oriented, and they're very careful and considerate when entering the home. There have been multiple times where it feels like they've gone above and beyond to make sure everything is handled well and that I feel comfortable. Overall, I've felt genuinely cared for here. Thank you!!

I had a studio with an…read moreupdated kitchen ("granite" counter tops, new sink & stove, older fridge, and if you looked closely there were actually 3-4 different types of cabinets used in the kitchen but not noticeable to anyone else). The bedroom was quite large and spacious. Since there's not much space in the kitchen to eat, I ended eating most meals at a table in the bedroom. Other units even had updated bathrooms. I did not. The bathroom had an old-fashioned claw foot bathtub with two shower curtains that encircled you, pedestal sink, and window that opened to an "air shaft." It has no view, but does a good job of keeping the bathroom dry. In my unit, the closet was really long - woo hoo! Imagine at least 2 to 2.5 times the length of a normal closet. I was able to flatten & store a whole bunch cardboard boxes of my appliances and things (microwave, dvd, fans, small Christmas tree, etc.) for when I moved out. Each unit is different and may or may not be updated. So make sure you view or get photos of the exact unit you're interested in. I adored the architecture of the building especially the 5-ish feet high of ledging that surrounds the entire bedroom (it extends approximately 3 inches from the wall). I never put a nail in the walls, because I could rest all my artwork or random decorations on this ledge. The internet connection was an issue. I would have to call Ruben quite often to ask him to reset the internet. I opted for the parking lot in the back (there's only 8 or so spots available). It was nice to know your car was probably safer than on the street but a lot of the residents did not know how to park there. If everyone parks within the painted lines, someone is going to get screwed. But if you park out of the lines and leave some space for the people on the ends, it's better. I never had a problem with our neighbors at the time. Everyone was pretty quiet and I rarely saw other residents. Several of them were students who went to school nearby.

I insisted that I have high speed internet and had it installed. John was so nice about it. He just sort of shrugged. The apartment was big and beautiful. The closet was huge. So just thinking of the heartbreaking experience we have just experienced with the property and especially Management AND CORPORATE is WILD. Due to a leak from an upstairs neighbor we were exposed to ASBESTOS. The building is old we get that. Completely. What we don't get and accept is the FACT that they voided CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODES AND ESPECIALLY implied warranty of habitability. I asked for a hotel. I was denied. Instead I was given keys to an empty apartment outside of my home to use the bathroom. My two choices from this company was to either stay in my home that I pay for with no bathroom or stay in an empty apartment with a working bathroom. I was also denied compensation if I stayed with family, I explained to them that I medically cannot go through this and they said that was all they were approved to do for me. My husband and I were in a recent car accident and work full time. Our time is precious and valuable to us. We have to now waste it to stumble in the middle of the night three doors down to an empty apartment to use the bathroom. Many others who lived here and currently still do have talks of taking legal action. Because of the negligence in their office, I was not informed that asbestos had been found in my home and walked in with no knowledge and worse to find my dog, sneezing and men in hazard mask and suits clearing out my bathroom. When I told the manager all she said was "We also appreciate your concern for your pet. The health and safety of our residents and their pets is important to us, and we regret any confusion regarding access to the unit while work was being performed. Additionally, I have attached a Reasonable Accommodation Request Form. If you or a member of your household has medical needs that may require an accommodation, please complete the form and provide supporting documentation from a qualified healthcare provider. Upon receipt of the requested documentation, we will be happy to review your request and assist in accordance with our reasonable accommodation process." I also added screenshots of the email I received from the manager Deijah and the corporate team Move in at your own risk I guess. Thank GOD I'm out but at what cost?? Hopefully my dog or I stay healthy because it sure felt like they really care about us at Harbor Park. They have had construction on going for 2 years now to "better the community". They inconvenienced the people that were already there by taking away our parking spots so that they can build new brand new buildings from the ground up. They have lost most of their community. My neighbors on the right and left are gone. They claim to have security cameras, but even their stuff has been stolen from the property. My car had its window broken last year. Upstairs neighbor's car was broken into a couple months ago right in front of our apartments in the temporary parking. As you can tell by the other yelp reviews. Many people have had issues with Harbor Park. They put in a new swimming pool, but it's gross to go down there. They even last year limited us by telling us we were only able to use the pool when the office was operating because they didn't trust their residents. This as well as more I can add on but I'll just leave it there Do better Harbor Park and Greystar

It's a noisy area and the apartments have been under construction for the last six months which effects the noise level and parking situation. It's nearly impossible to speak to a live person in the office. They don't answer the phone or call you back, nor do they return emails. They won't make window appointments for maintenance either. The glass panel on our oven would fall out every few months and it would take weeks to schedule a repair. They repaired it 7 times before they finally replaced it. The first year, they had a management team that was really nice and tried their best. 6 months ago there was a management turnover and ever since they have been terrible and apathetic. I do not recommend moving here.
